Profile

Summary:Bryan helped his high school go 41-6 and win back-to-back state titles in Wyoming. After garnering Conference Defensive Player of the Year, the Natrona County Iron Man award and All-State First-Team selections on the offensive and defensive lines in 2013, Bryan chose Florida over multiple other options.

Bryan redshirted in 2014 and cracked the Gators lineup in 2015, appearing in 12 games. Bryan started two of 13 games played in 2016 and led Florida with two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He moved into a starting role in 2017. He had career bests of seven tackles and 1.5 sacks against Texas A&M last fall.

Stacking up:NFL Media analyst **Mike Mayock*** *moved Bryan from fourth to third among interior defensive linemen after the NFL Scouting Combine. **Bucky Brooks** had Bryan third before and after the combine and called him a "junkyard dog with outstanding hands and movement skills."

Daniel Jeremiah listed Bryan as the **No. 24 overall prospect** in his Top 50. Jeremiah wrote when Bryan has proper hand placement, "he can push the pocket with outstanding power." Jeremiah emphasized that Bryan isn't a "finished product" but does have "raw tools to develop into an outstanding interior pass rusher" and said he could become more consistent against the run.

Family inspiration:Bryan spent last offseason at home in Wyoming, where his father, Brandy (a former Navy SEAL), put him through a rigorous workout routine and had him help on construction sites before and after weightlifting sessions.

Eric Adelson of YAHOO! Sports **profiled the relationship***between Taven and his father. *
