Inside Kylie’s “Best” Birthday Celebrations With Timothée Chalamet

What did your 27th birthday look like? Was it your best? For Kylie Jenner, whose backyard celebrations are always a flower wall away from the norm, blowing out the candles on her strawberry-speckled cake while surrounded by family felt like her most special yet. Then there’s the small matter of the Bahamas.

A family get-together in Calabasas is cute, but it doesn’t have the same kind of power flex as jetting to the Caribbean for a night with your boyfriend and best friend. The fun that unfolded from PJ to private yacht involved poker, matching merch, Sprinter drinks breaks, bejewelled manis and beach leis. Basically all the colour-pop party paraphernalia you’d expect from a twenty something, but with the curation of someone who posts about their world for a living.

We’re yet to see whether Timothée Chalamet, who Jenner has been linked to since 2023, wore his own “Miracle Academy” cap, but we do know (thanks to the internet sleuths at @DeuxMois) that he and Kylie wore matching leisurewear (white track top, black sweats) on the plane to and from paradise. While it was a memorable birthday for Kylie, Chalamet will surely have the image of her slinky vintage Versace LBD (do people still use the phrase thirst trap?) etched in his brain for some time. We’d expect nothing less from the billionaire businesswoman, who (almost!) committed us to a glow subscription in the hope of emulating her Instagram-filtered brand of radiance.
