Kaia Gerber is often spotted leaving the catwalk with a book under her arm. A famously voracious reader, the model just used her T-shirt to show her love for literature. Earlier this month, Gerber appeared outside the Hayes Theater in New York City to attend the play Job by Max Wolf Friedlich, where she moderated a conversation afterwards.
“Come to my house I have great books,” read the caption on her navy blue baby-tee, which has become one of her off-duty essentials. She paired the stand-out slogan tee with navy blue low-rise pants, and a pair of black ballerina flats with a low heel. Alongside her, Austin Butler also opted for a low-key silhouette, choosing a San Francisco Giants cap, gray T-shirt, baggy black pants, and a pair of white sneakers.
It’s impossible to overlook Gerber’s passion for literature. In fact, she recently started a book club for her Instagram followers, alongside Alyssa Reeder, called Library Science, where she shares her latest favorites.
Gerber is not the first to bet on a slogan tee. In May 2023, Kim Kardashian made a striking appearance in an immaculate T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase “I Love Nerds,” setting the trend for message tops. Since then, many celebrities have adopted the slogan tee... We’ll be keeping our eyes open for more of the trend’s celebrity fans this fall.
