Welcome to Vogue’s first-ever spa guide—a compendium of the 100 best spas worldwide, pulling from the expertise of our global editors. There is a lot out there in the world of wellness, and we are here to sort the cryo from the cold plunge, the infrared light treatment from the IV infusion. Or if your path is a more holistic one—there’s something for you here as well.

Why go here?

A dedicated longevity clinic, RoseBar sits within the five-star Six Senses Ibiza on the island’s northern tip and caters to a growing appetite for functional medicine, biohacking, and genetic screening. The clinic—all jute rugs and minimalist cream furniture—boasts state-of-the-art equipment and a deeply seductive tagline: “Defy the concept of aging.” Customers might spend a half hour breathing pure oxygen in a hyperbaric chamber, submerge themselves in the world’s only automated ice bath, take a snooze under cell-rejuvenating red-light panels, or have their very DNA sent off to be assessed in a laboratory. All with the goal of staying healthy, strong, and vital for longer. RoseBar can’t stop the relentless march of time—but it can, it insists, help to prevent it from leaving its footprints on your body.

What’s the vibe?

RoseBar—the brainchild of American physician Mark Hyman—reflects a new face of the White Isle, and its patrons are far less preoccupied by wild parties than they are with the very latest in wellness. Here, the cocktails are administered via IV drip (your Inner Glow cocktail won’t taste of anything, but it will make your skin pop), and the only shots being lined up are of energy-boosting B12.

The history?

While you might not think of nightlife-centric Ibiza as a mecca for the meditation set, the location actually makes a lot of sense. Since its opening, the luxurious yet laid back Six Senses Ibiza has become a magnet for the wellness crowd. It hosted the annual Alma Festival in 2022, which saw a panel of internationally renowned experts—including The Class founder Taryn Toomey, professor Tim Spector of the Zoe app, and the Duchess of Sussex’s meditation guru, Light Watkins—converge in Ibiza for three days of sound bowls, biohacking, and somatic breath work. The hotel is set to host the festival again this October.

What should you try?

This being Ibiza, there’s just as much emphasis on spiritual well-being as there is on science, meaning you can supplement your regenerative ozone therapy with some holistic osteopathy, or simply a dip in the ocean. My own favorite session was with energy medicine practitioner Judit Yagüe, who uses deep-tissue massage and holistic healing techniques to channel energy through her hands, for a treatment that relaxes the nervous system and muscles and balances the chakras.

How environmentally friendly is it?

Six Senses is Breamm-certified, and you won’t find any single-use plastics lurking inside the RoseBar. If you take the team up on their offer of a bespoke longevity diet plan, the ingredients will all be sourced locally in Ibiza—including from Six Senses Ibiza’s own organic farm.

What else do we need to know?

RoseBar is a longevity club, not a traditional spa. So, yes, you can pop in for some red-light therapy or lymphatic drainage, but the focus here is on positive—and tangible—lifestyle outcomes, rather than, say, a relaxing deep-tissue massage after an afternoon by the pool. You can expect to leave feeling more informed about your overall well-being than you were going in.

Who can go?

RoseBar is currently open to guests staying at Six Senses, but is allegedly due to soft-launch a membership program this year with a limited number of memberships available. A global launch is also reportedly planned for 2025.
