Reaching for a pretty floral tea dress used to be a given during the summer months, but not in 2019. Leopard-inspired spots undoubtedly replaced ditsy micro-blooms as the go-to print this season—helped in part by the array of silhouettes on offer. Ganni has served up the most instantly recognisable print: you've no doubt spotted its bucket hat, box shirts and slip dresses at a beach, bar or brunch spot of late. And Prada's animal-inspired update on its scuba sandal has made it even more wildly coveted. The silk slip skirt has proven so ubiquitous it has its own Instagram account @leopardmidiskirt, which offers a glimpse at the sheer volume of women spotted teaming one with an easy leather jacket up and down Britain. Our favourite now is Nili Lotan's. If you’re still counting the days until your own summer break—and searching for that swimwear hit—then look to Fisch Swim. The brand's sustainable credentials are just one more reason to feel uplifted when wearing its pieces, which are made from recycled fishing nets. This trend isn’t going anywhere fast if Sonia Rykiel has anything to do with it—its V-neck wool sweater is a transitional piece you can throw over your shoulders as temperatures drop, then team with wide-leg tailored trousers when those back-to-work bells start to chime. Here are Vogue’s favourite leopard print pieces to see you through the last days of summer.
