When did filming begin for Emily in Paris season 3?

Lily Collins, who plays the show’s titular marketing executive, confirmed that filming had resumed on Instagram on 1 June, posting a photo with Ashley Park, who embodies her onscreen best friend Mindy Chen. Then, on 22 September, Netflix released a first set of images from the set, which showed the pair grabbing coffee, catching up with Camille (Camille Razat), and Emily coming face to face with her two love interests, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).

What is the plot of Emily in Paris season 3?

Season two ended with Madeline and Sylvie butting heads at Savoir, which led to the latter leaving to start her own firm and asking Emily to join her. From the recently released stills, it’s clear that Emily has decided to stay in Paris, and won’t be following her former boss back to Chicago. This means she’ll have to deal with the fact that Gabriel and Camille are not only back together, but living in the apartment directly underneath her.

She’ll also be seeing much more of Alfie considering Lucien Laviscount’s newly minted series regular status. In the final episode of season two, Alfie confessed that the project that brought him to Paris had ended and he’d planned to return to London, but extended his trip to spend more time with Emily. He suggests they try long distance and Emily seems amenable, at least before she realises she’s in love with Gabriel. Will the British banker change his mind and stay in Paris long term, or will jaunts across the Channel be a part of Emily’s season three adventures? We’ll know soon enough.

Is there a trailer for Emily in Paris season 3?

Yes! Netflix released the first teaser on 24 September, and it shows Emily weighing up the decisions she has to make – both professional and romantic – before anxiously cutting her own fringe. When she later runs into Gabriel on the street and he asks if she’s alright, she yelps: “They’re just bangs! Sometimes people cut bangs when everything’s fine!” We also see her watching Mindy on stage, with Alfie beside her; striding through the streets of Paris; and seemingly trying to chase a pigeon out of her office. Classic.

An official trailer followed on 30 November. In it, an increasingly frantic Emily is shown, in Mindy’s words, “playing double duty” – placating Madeline while also telling Sylvie that she’s on her team. As her lies threaten to catch up with her, we see her zipping through the city with Gabriel asleep on her shoulder (“You changed my life,” he tells her), then in bed with Alfie, and later on an awkward train ride with them both. Also of note? Emily lounging poolside at Hotel Molitor, on a romantic getaway with Alfie in the lavender fields of Provence, drifting across the sky in a hot air balloon, and sporting a series of outrageous costumes including a zebra-print cocktail dress that brings new meaning to the term “power shoulders”.

When is the release date for Emily in Paris season 3?

Emily in Paris will return on 21 December.

Will there be a fourth season of Emily in Paris?

Yes, on 10 January, Netflix confirmed that Emily in Paris had been renewed for a third and fourth season, meaning there are plenty more fashion shows, voyages on the Seine and misguided social media campaigns still to come. We just hope Emily’s French improves by then.
