James Bond Casts Its New Moneypenny

The long-delayed, 23rd James Bond film is finally casting up. The Daily Mail reports that 28 Days Later actress Naomie Harris is in final negotiations to play Moneypenny, a longtime Bond character who’s so far been absent from the Daniel Craig films. Baz Bamingoye claims that Harris would join the previously rumored Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes as the new additions to the movie; since Bardem hasn’t had to commit yet to Ron Howard’s adaptation of The Dark Tower, which was recently hit with some studio setbacks, his incipient Bond villainy is looking more and more like a sure thing. (Still, producers might want to place a few more products to afford all those star salaries.) [Daily Mail UK]
