And she’s named her the relatively simple, totally pleasant Blue Ivy Carter! (People has her name as Blue Ivy; TMZ as Ivy Blue. The deciding tie breaker is, of course, Gwyneth Paltrow, who tweeted, “Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already.” Savvier individuals have also pointed out that Ivy can also be read as IV, meaning, essentially, that Jay named his child Blueprint 4.) Anyway, congrats to Bey and Jay and, really, to all the rest of us, on this momentous occasion.
