FOLLOW UP: 3 lives lost in fire at Adamsville home, investigation ongoing

MCNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — According to McNairy County Sheriff Guy Buck, the sheriff’s office was alerted to a fire on Leapwood Road around 11 p.m. Thursday night.

Three people are confirmed to have died as a result of the fire. They are not releasing the names or ages of the victims at this time, as they await the medical examiner’s report.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Bomb and Arson division is conducting the investigation.

Sheriff Buck says foul play is not suspected at this time, however that can’t be ruled out until the investigation is complete.
