Humboldt Police seek info in shooting that left one injured

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Police are investigating a shooting that left one injured.

According to the Humboldt Police Department, around 10:39 Monday night, a 24-year-old female arrived at the police department with a gunshot wound to the arm.

A press release states the victim told police that someone in a black SUV shot her while she was driving near Central Avenue and the 45 Bypass.

According to the release, the victim was unable to give any further descriptions of the vehicle or the driver.

Police say she was transported to the Jackson Madison County General Hospital to be treated for her injury.
