Auditions continue for musical ‘A Year with Frog and Toad’

JACKSON, Tenn. — Calling all young actors! Auditions are taking place for a special upcoming performance.

‘A Year with Frog and Toad’ is a musical based on the Frog and Toad children’s stories.

It’s about the adventures of Frog and Toad and their friendship as it goes through the course of a year. It also includes their other animal friends like Mouse and Turtle.

Auditions for the musical were held Monday and will continue Tuesday for the children and teens, as long as you fill out the audition form beforehand.

Auditions will take place at 4 p.m. Tuesday at The Ned. To fill out an audition form, click here.

Executive Director of The Ned, David McCall, shares what they’re looking for during the audition process.

“We’re looking for pretty adventurous young artists so folks who are really great at singing or wanting to become really great at singing. And also your young actors that have a little twinkle in their eye who know who to deliver a joke and how to be pretty entertaining,” said McCall.

The performance will take place August 22-24.
