7-year-old Amber Alert subject found dead in lake

JACKSON, Tenn. — The subject of an Amber Alert in Tennessee has been found dead, authorities confirm.

Thursday morning, an Amber Alert was issued for 7-year-old Serenity Alanna Marie Kinsey.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says Serenity, described as autistic and non-verbal, was last seen at her home along Indian Creek Road in Dandridge, Tennessee around 1 a.m.

Less than two hours after the alert was issued, TBI confirmed Serenity’s body was located by a dive team in a lake near her home.

No further details have been confirmed at this time.

The TBI says their hearts go out to the family, and thanked those who took the time to share her information.
