2 killed on motorcycle in deadly weekend crash

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Two lives were claimed in a deadly crash over the weekend.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Derrick Potter and 31-year-old Elisha Potter were killed in a multi-vehicle wreck on Saturday evening.

A preliminary report by the THP states the crash occurred around 6:55 p.m. in Weakley County, between McKenzie and Greenfield.

According to the report, the Potters were traveling north on Brawners Road on a 1992 Harley Davidson, while a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado with three occupants was traveling west on State Route 124.

The report states that the wreck occurred at the intersection of the two roads.

The report also shows that the driver of the Silverado and one of the passengers received non-fatal injuries.

According to the report, all individuals involved are Tennessee residents, and no charges were filed as a result of the wreck.
