Monday evening the Jackson Choral Society kicked off preparations for an upcoming concert.
It will be in November and it’s entitled, “Seasons.”
During the practice, members were able to listen to all of the music that will be in the concert.
It will consist of an all-volunteer choir, combining both professional and amateur singers.
“Over the next couple of weeks there’s still opportunity to join. So, if you can sing and you’d love to be a part of this community choir come out next Monday night, every Monday night 7 to 9 pm at the First United Methodist church downtown on Church Street,” shared Zach Young, music director for the Jackson Choral Society.
The concert will be Saturday, November 16th at 3 p.m. at First Baptist church on North Highland.
