Love and Truth Church in Adamsville hosts Veteran Fair

ADAMSVILLE, Tenn. — A local veterans fair was held earlier on Monday.

Hosted at Love and Truth Church in Adamsville, the event connected veterans to various federal and local resources.

It was open to all veterans, as well as the public.

There was information regarding volunteer and employment opportunities as well as educational and networking opportunities.

Veteran service organizations and therapeutic organizations were also present.

“It’s different organizations throughout both McNairy and Hardin County and western Tennessee. Organizations that can help our veterans throughout the communities for life events, school, jobs, health, just about anything right now is going on,” said Stephanie Schmidt, Hardin County veterans service officer.

Veteran service officers were also present at the event to help veterans file claims.
