Spectrum donates school essentials to boys and girls club

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — On Monday Spectrum, a new service in Humboldt, provided around 150 backpacks for the kids of The Boys and Girls club of Humboldt.

“I appreciate spectrum being here today and just helping supply… take a little bit of that pressure off young parents especially. Finding the resources to be able to get those students put off on the right foot. Really appreciate them doing that,” expressed Senator John Stevens.
They also gave out school supplies withing the backpacks, to make sure students have what they need.
Spectrum even donated laptops to The Boys and Girls club.

“We just want to make sure our kids feel good about going to school, and they got what they need to start their year off,” shared Humboldt Mayor Marvin Sikes.
