According to Mayor Bill Rawls, this event will kick off a series of Brownsville’s bicentennial celebration events.

This summit plans to help, not only adults, but young people learn about financial literacy. According to Mayor Rawls, it’s not just about managing money, it’s about building a future.

Mayor Rawls and Bolivar Mayor Julian McTizic will be among the keynote speakers during the summit.

“We don’t want to just talk about managing money, but building a financial future for your family and the entire region. You want to visit familywealthsummit.com to register for your tickets. You will see the QR code. Once again, this is a free event on Saturday, August 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Haywood High School,” said Mayor Rawls.

The school is located on 1175 College Street in Brownsville.
