Three men face charges in Milan after alleged animal cruelty

MILAN, Tenn. — Three men at a residence in Milan are facing alleged animal cruelty charges due to a recent discovery inside their home by police.

According to a report, police were notified for an animal complaint.

When police went to investigate they discovered more than 30 cats and 2 dogs living in non-life sustaining conditions.

The home also was reported to have no electricity or running water.

When our crew went to the residence, the homeowner said someone was coming to take the cats but there were still 20-30 cats living inside the home.

“We’ve done all that we can do at the time and the place with the money that we can do,” said the homeowner.

The men are set to appear in Milan City Court on August 14.
