School district announces new policy for home football games

MILAN, Tenn. — One school district is making changes to attendance at some football games.

According to a social media post by the Milan Special School District, beginning with the jamboree on August 16, all students not in high school must be accompanied by an adult at varsity football games held at home.

The announcement states that those students not accompanied by an adult will not be admitted.

According to the post, the announcement is “due to increased issues with student behavior and safety concerns” at these games.
