Dixie plant manager speaks at Jackson Rotary Club meeting

JACKSON, Tenn. — One organization invites leaders from a local plant to share what’s in store for the city of Jackson.

Several rotary club members met downtown at First United Methodist Church. Their speaker for this month was Dixie’s Plant Manager Michael Cook.

Local leaders in attendance included Madison County Mayor A.J. Massey, Jackson Mayor Scott Conger and District Attorney General Jodi Pickens.

Cook took the podium to express that Dixie is the largest single investment in Jackson.

He also presented a PowerPoint to show how Dixie’s facility was built quickly and effectively.

He says that the motto of Dixie is ‘one team, one vision, one result.’

“It doesn’t matter your role, it doesn’t matter your title. It’s a matter of how do we align on the vision, how do we align on the process to get there and then how are we aligned on what success looks like as one major team,” said Cook.

Lunch was also served to every member and participant.
