Not a bad spot at all. They have a wide variety of Japanese and Korean dishes. I had their salmon sashimi salad there and it sounds nice and looks nice but it is served with a vinegary dressing which was too acidic, but if you substitute it with a creamy dressing it would be outstanding. This place has a nice quiet ambience and the waiters and cooks are friendly. Not bad for a spot to get a quick bite.

Came here with my hubby for dinner last night. We ordered kalbi, avocado roll, chicken yakisoba, and honey garlic Korean fried chicken. Food was really good!! We paired it with a peach soju that was delicious! Waitress said this soju is their most popular drink, so order a couple of bottles before they run out.

I came here with a group of my friends for dinner on a Monday evening after our initial decision for dinner turned out to be closed on Mondays.
I ordered the Popcorn Roll, toro nigiri, and chopped scallop nigiri, and shared the korean style spicy chicken BBQ Pot and Padak deep fried chicken with my mates.
The food was decent and reasonably tasty. The Korean style dishes were delicious. The Spicy Chicken BBQ Pot came with shredded cheese and corn with perhaps mayonnaise sauce on it on the rims and chicken and rice cake in the sweet and spicy sauce cooking in the middle along with onions. It should be noted that the chicken is raw at first and requires a few minutes wait before it is ready to be eaten. As well, for a few dolllars you can add japchae or fried kimchi on the hot plate. The Padak deep fried chicken was basically deep fried chicken with a lot of green onion on top. It also came with a dish of sweet soy sauce (at least that is what I think it is).
As for the Japanese cuisine, it was very lacking. The toro nigiri was a smaller piece than other places, although at a $2 a piece it is okay. The chopped scallop roll was a little different than other places as I thought the scallop was very finely minced rather than having a couple of small chunks of scallop. The Popcorn Roll was not very spectacular as when I observed it further, it was really just a Dynamite Roll with a few pieces of deep fried baby scallop on top, and drizzled with sauce. With the Popcorn roll at 13.95 and Dynamite roll at 5.95, I don't know if it was worth it at all. However I didn't order the Dynamite roll so this is assuming that the Dynamite roll here is typically the prawn tempura with imitation crab, cucumber, and avocado.
Service was a little slow despite having the buzzer on the table. In fact, I'm pretty sure the buzzer did nothing at all as the servers were not at the computer where the alert is shown. The location is sizeable and very suitable for bigger groups as well.
All in all, I would come back to this place to eat again, but I would not delve into the Japanese food. I suggest newcomers to try the Korean style food as it was very good here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Its M.Burnaby, BCMay 1, 2019
Surprisingly good and decently priced and that's me using skip the dishes and not dining in. So if anything it should be expensive because the tip and delivery fee can be such a bug! I enjoy my ever first accurate order online from hon sushi! Dishes were great! Will come back or order again! :)

My boyfriend and I LOVE this place!!! I think it is Korean owned as they also have some really well done Korean dishes in the menu. The sashimi is always fresh (we don't get that itchy feeling on our tongue) and the rest of the things we order is really good quality!! We know that no matter what we pick from the menu, we know we won't be disappointed!

Within walking distance from the train station. Came here on the way to a dessert place for some sushi. Got the avocado and veggie roll. Was served in a timely manner and the rolls were tight. Customer service was neutral. Prices were more than fair.

I love this place! A place where I can get great korean fried chicken without going to coquitlam or Richmond. Their cheese rabokki is to die for and I highly recommend their oshii rolls as well. Oh They also have very good customer service! I ordered for pick up and they accidentally gave me tobokki instead of rabokki. As I got home, I received a call from them and told me about the accidental mix up. I was ok with it but they insisted that next time I come that they'll give me a free rabokki for the mistake. I told them that I won't be able to come for a week and they were ok with it. As I finally went back and ordered for pick up they were happy to replace the mistake and stuck to their word of honouring my free rabokki.

I dropped by here to grab some yam rolls and spicy agedashi tofu. There were only about 4 other diners there as there was about 45 minutes left before closing. The service was alright but their food are not worth what you are paying for. I ordered the yam roll for about $5 and what it was, was just soggy yam fries rolled up in rice. It definitely isn't worth what you are paying for.

I was wanting to try out Korean Fried Chicken since it is the next best thing according to the food world. So I went to Hon Sushi for some of their food and not only I wasted time on my money, but I also wasted time eating their mystery food. If I was a chicken in that kitchen and saw that my bros were being fried like they were cooked, I would ask the chef if they can be fried correctly and at least not scare the heck out of the customers with all the blood dripping out of the meat...
So me and my friend went to Hon Sushi to try out some of the chicken. Let's just say... the chicken was so raw, thank goodness my name is not Peter Griffin. While the sauce had flavor, I had to go Jeogiyo it was that bad. After telling them the chicken was showing blood and they returned to it. Then I realize they just used the same chicken to fry it again.. The next session, there was still some blood dripping and I was like... "Can I just get the bill and get out of here.:" The customer service was great and all, but this is the first time I have experienced a place where the customer service is legit, but the food is for the dogs."Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
