This is a cute French spot in Vancouver. We came here for a tasting menu which was about 10 dishes for 155 per person. Everything was great and all the portions are small enough so literally get a small taster of everything. My favorites were the truffled butter oysters, the foie grais, halibut, and the lamb.
Due to the nature of the number of the dishes we ended up having a 3 hour dinner so plan your dinner for about 3 hours if you plan on getting the tasting menu.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Sep 17, 2021
Celebrated our 3 year anniversary here!
Complimentary champagne
Baked Pacific Oysters $31
Butter Poached Scallops $25
Steak Diane $48
Tandoori Style Sablefish $45
Everything was super delicious as usual! We got complimentary champagne for our anniversary which was very kind of them.
Their oysters are very creamy with truffles making it very fragrant. Must order if you go there!
The steak diane is also our favourite with the bone marrow sauce which melts in your mouth . There's also this super creamy broccoli puree which paired with the steak and was so so delicious. Who knew broccoli can taste this good!
The sablefish was very flavourful and cooked perfectly. I really liked their crab turnover, very cute and delicious!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Elane S.Saint Louis, United StatesMay 12, 2023
Really lovely place to dine, especially in their patio/greenhouse. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and had great attention to detail - always refilling our water. The food was great - not necessarily memorable, but we definitely cleaned our plates.

Such a fabulous spot. We actually sat at the bar and had the best time, the tables are nice and secluded but the downstairs bar was a great place to chat with the bartenders and others nearby enjoying their food too. The Sommelier was a treat, he even helped us with a personal winery list for us to visit on our upcoming trip to Tuscany. The food was impeccable, can't go wrong with anything!

Went for a girls night but I think would be an even better restaurant for date night. Sommelier and service were both excellent, frequent and knowledgeable. The oysters had a bit of an off putting smell from the fresh truffle but the flavor was delicious and would order again. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender, and as a broccoli fan I loved the accompaniments. The dessert was interesting and not too sweet which was a nice end to the meal. I tried a tequila cocktail that was light and refreshing and my glass of wine chosen by the sommelier paired perfectly with the steak. Definitely will go again for a date! It is pricy but it felt worth it with the service and food quality.

It's a very nice restaurant. I love the seating area with open glass windows. Very nice ambience. The service is great and food is delicious. We ordered the duck breast and fish. Very tender duck breast and the fish is also very tender. The food is very good.

We stopped here for post dinner drinks and dessert. The drinks were great, actually pretty strong haha. The deconstructed carrot cake was AMAZING. We sat at the bar which was rather small, but it looked like the upstairs space was pretty nice. I'd definitely go back to check out the rest of the menu based on what we had.

Had wanted to try this place for a long time and yay we made it during one of our Vancouver trips in April. We did its prefix meal and it was definitely a 5-star experience!
Every course was creatively designed with lots of different textures and flavors blended together, and they just all worked together. Also it had a good amount of the "fine dining ingredients" that you'd expect so the price was very reasonable.
My favourites:
Caviar and beets - loved the collision of the crispy and creamy textures.
Oyster - the truffle and the butter butter went pretty well with the raw oyster.
Halibut - Amazing hierarchy of flavors in such a small plate from the mouth-melting fish and firm yet soft prawn plus the foam cream, to the refreshing asparagus with tiny slices of mango that satisfied my sweet tooth.
Quail - the quail was cooked to perfection, so tender. The strawberry sauce that added some sourness and sweetness to the dish was such a great assist. I'd personally come back just for that.
The prefix courses were actually too much for me and my friends. We almost had no space for the desserts and there were three... Next time we'll probably go a la carte.
The ambience of the restaurant was a bit towards the trendy and chic side. The only downside was it was too packed in my opinion. We sat on the second floor. The air ventilation wasn't super good and it was also quite noisy which made sitting there for 2-3 hours a bit exhausting.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Megan K.Downtown, Vancouver, BC161331Feb 14, 2023
Amazing time at a very tasty restaurant. Quick to seat and had a great recommendation of wine from the sommelier, as well as mock tails by the manager there Dave. Great environment with good service. Cool decor on the walls of all their wines !

Went with my friend the day before Valentine's Day for the tasting menu. Service was average, but kudos to the lovely hostess who acknowledged special request for our reservations, and wondering why the dining room servers not paying attention to details like the hostess. Overall the tasting menu was of average quality, nothing of vow factors comparing to my first dining experience years ago here. In particular, the main course European Sea Bass was quite dry, and not sure why it was complemented with chickpeas and salsa like sauces, not quite the chemistry! We have asked the bus boy for taking our picture, but he said he would ask our server who showed up only when serving us the 3 courses, and at the end, the bus boy took the picture for us. Yes, we completed the 3 courses and the pictures, but we both didn't feel completed with a good dining experience!
