JWH Asbestos Removal Svc

I am moving into a house that previously used JWH for removal of asbestos back in 2018. Understandably so, when you see the word asbestos, your mind thinks the worst. I called JWH and speaking with Grace, she immediately relived my worries by explaining thoroughly what they do and what the documentation meant that was provided to me. Multiple times during the day! My mom Maggie hired JWH asbestos removal abatement company on Sept. 4, 2024 to remove our dining room asbestos ceiling and treated the mold due to water damage from 2nd floor bathroom. My mom has been corresponding with the owner Grace who has been very patient and gracious in answering all my mom's questions and concerns in the emails. They gave a quote and said once they open the ceiling to reveal the mold they would determine the additional charge to fix it. However, when they opened ceiling and found the mold was not severe they did not charge extra! This company is honest and gave us a fair price. My mom loves their service; they're very professional and once their work was done, it passed the TEM asbestos air quality test in one go! The supervisor Roy Reveles and his crew are very professional and conscientious, cleaning up very well. That's why it passed the rigorous asbestos air quality test. Roy was very friendly and communicated every step with my mom clearly while providing excellent service. If you need asbestos removal and/or mold treatment this is the company for you! They are extremely trustworthy and reliable to get the job done right!

NO PPE or proper containment protocol. This company does not value your safety or the cleanliness of work. Mold remediation was done in my apartment with a different company days prior to JWH coming in to remove the asbestos affected walls yesterday 4/3/24. Two guys showed up and was already doing demo w the prexisting containment the mold remediation team left up completely OPEN. It was a double containment and both were OPEN during the process of demo. No gloves, no masks, no coveralls....ripping up the moldy, asbestos contaminated walls, getting dust everywhere, all over my floors from the room all the way to the front door. They started sweeping to bag and remove, causing a larger dust up with again, both containments OPEN. The city inspector was on-site checking out the bldg structure when the demo was taking place witnessing the lack of professionalism this company presented. This is my home and my belongings inside this unit where the work was taking place. I am devastated by the work this company provided as a licensed asbestos removal company. I will be submitting a complaint through OSHA next.

I would highly recommended JWH if anyone ever need this area of job. Grace is so kind and considerate to address all the concerns that I have. And the crew members are all timely, professional, very knowledgeable and a competitive rate that was worth the cost. I am very pleased with the results and so grateful to find JWH on Yelp. Great job! showed up on time as communicated and did the necessary work in a timely manner. This was a small job to removal a transite glue pipe from a water heater - only took a couple of days from my first contact to completion.

John was quick to respond with a reasonable quote to remove some asbestos flooring. They came out the following week. The job was supposed to take one day, but the flooring took a bit longer to remove so they returned the next morning finish the job.
They did a great job and our floors are clean and ready for new flooring to be installed. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again

Set up a free consultation with JWH after we were told by an HVAC person that we had asbestos. JWH came promptly and were able to tell us that in fact we did not have asbestos, and that what the HVAC person thought was asbestos was just some white woven tape. Really glad we got a second opinion and that we went with JWH. Roy was very kind and professional. If we did have asbestos, we would have used them for the removal.

I've never had to get asbestos removal before, so I didn't really know what to expect. After an asbestos testing company found asbestos in our bathroom floor, I hired JWH to do the removal. I couldn't be happier with the entire process! Their staff on the phone and in person was warm and friendly, punctual, competent and flexible. I also appreciate the fact that both of the asbestos testing companies I considered recommended JWH for the removal.

I really don't know how JWH Asbestos Removal Svc compares pricewise to their competition, but based on the service I received, even if they are more expensive (which I doubt), they're worth it!

If I encounter any similar needs in the future, I would definitely use JWH again.
