my roommates and I were moving our entire apartment to a new location, and their team of 3 people worked super efficiently. They fit all of our things into the truck for only one trip to the new address. The disassembly and moving of large furniture like bed frames were a huge life saver as well.

Our larger furniture was wrapped in blanket pads and plastic, arriving in great condition. They also provide wardrobe boxes upon request, so things that are hung up in your closet can remain on the hanger and go directly into your new closet. You can also pay with cash for a 7% discount!

Ilnur and his team at Pure Moving Company were excellent!
My husband and I made an in-city (LA) move, and Pure Moving helped us with all our heavy furniture and a few boxes.

# Pros Vs Cons
Pros:
- Very friendly.
- They're very transparent on their pricing. You do have to call them to get their costs on peak days. Additional fees that you may incur may be due to: long distance driving (they charge a flat fee, and all driving time is double cost), peak day moving, flat fee for the truck, buying insurance for TV. Discounts they offer: 7% off for paying with cash. All of this is explained in your first call -- there are no hidden fees between when you first book your move and when your move is complete.
- Price was best compared to any competitors: $169/hr for 3 guys, $39 truck fee, $179 long-distance drive fee, $49 TV insurance. They picked up things from two locations to be dropped off at a final location for about $1600.
- Their services are all-inclusive. They use the plastic wrap + cushion wraps around all wood furniture and plastic wrap all around mattresses. They even put our cat trees in boxes. They can pack and unpack for you, as well as disassemble and reassemble any furniture you want anywhere. This includes going up or down stairs, etc. You can also set as many pick-up locations as you'd like.

Cons:
- Some of the guys don't speak English, so you have to talk to the coordinator. I didn't find this to be a huge deal, as he was always around
- Some of the guys smoked. Not a huge deal. You're told ahead of time that the workers will have some time to eat lunch and take breaks, but I'm just not a fan of the smell.
- They're not the fastest workers I've had. The two previous times I've moved, the guys also wrapped everything and were careful, but moved everything faster. I think the system of paying based on the hour kind of encourages this, but even though Pure Moving has the lowest hourly rates, it kind of balances out with the slower movers.

Moving time examples:
- The first location probably should have taken at most 30 minutes ended up taking an hour. The boxes were all pre-packed and placed near the door. The wood desk needed wrapping and the bed needed disassembly + wrapping. I had three guys, so two guys should have been preparing the heavy stuff to handle in pairs while one guy should have been moving the boxes, but they did all boxes first, then desk, then bed.
- For all driving, they were surprisingly fast. They kept up with me.
- The second location they were moving stuff down stairs. There was definitely a lot more stuff, but everything was packed. There were two TVs to wrap, a few desks/tables to disassemble and wrap, and a bed frame to disassemble and wrap. They took about 3.5 hours to move everything. It should have taken about 2-3 hours to handle this, though they did take their lunch break during this part.
- The final location, they parked at the end of the driveway and just had to move most stuff to the garage (which was very close), and assemble one bed and one TV in the bedroom which was directly next to the garage across from the garage door. They did not have to unpack or disassemble anything else brought down. This should have been a fast and easy task (30-45 minutes), and it ended up taking 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Overall, a move that should have taken 5-6 hours ended up taking 8 hours.

# Summary
That being said, because of their cheaper rates, even though it took longer, it still was cheaper than competitors'. If all you care about is cost, then this company is the way to go, hands-down.

However, if you're in a rush, you'll probably want to look into hiring a different company. Adding an additional guy would not have helped, either, as they did not do a great job at parallelizing work. Pair-work (tables/beds/TVs) should have been done by pair guys at the same time that single guys were moving boxes.

The guys were still very friendly and easy to interact with, and I had an overall pleasant experience with them.

My husband and I had an excellent moving experience with Vadim and his team! Despite it being one of the hottest days of the year for a move, the team was hard-working, committed, and smiling the whole day -- no complaints, even when hauling challenging pieces up three flights of stairs. Vadim took such care to protect our belongings with careful wrapping, as well as laying down covering on our new stairs with coverings, and taking precautions to avoid unnecessarily scuffing walls. He also encouraged us to let him handle items we'd been planning to take by car the next day -- assuring us that the team would get them there safely (and they did). We were SO grateful for his encouragement when we later realized how impossible it would have been for us to have taken all those items on our own!

Pricing-wise, the video tour I'd arranged meant that the estimate was spot-on; we reached the "not to exceed" price but with the heat of the day and the stairs, I was not surprised. In driving 50 miles, the team was very expeditious, arriving not too far behind us though we'd been able to take the HOV lane.

We would 110% use Pure Movers again, and highly recommend them to others.
