I can't rate this company on their actual service, but I wanted to take a moment to rate them on their customer service. Simply put, they are amazing. The ONLY reason we didn't go with them was due to budget. Please believe, if we had the budget for them - without a doubt I would go with them without a second thought.

Mrs. Pleasant was all kind and understanding. She worked with me to find a date that we could possibly be moved into for a move. She taught me a few tips regarding the heavy move season and things to look out for. I learned what an inventory list was and the importance of one - she also schooled me on how to make sure I accounted for time properly when hiring a moving company.

Great, great service - they will definitely be a company that I recommend for others to check out!

Mike and his team was fantastic!! Ms. Pleasant who handles the apts to following up on the schedule was friendly and kind. Great customer service and communication was clear and smooth process. They are reliable and honest company. George was a great strong worker. They even came when it rained or shine they helped my elderly mother get her junk cleared out of her house after 40 years. If you can only image netflix hoarders it was cleared out!!! They went the extra miles to have things stress free for me. And what's great is that they try to donate the things to the right place to have a good home and not just end up in the landfills. Very professional people. I am glad I choose them and very much appreciate the service they did! Prompt and efficient!

M&L Moving was fantastic. Mike and his team were so kind, efficient, skilled, helpful, careful, and made the process so low-stress and easy on us. They should be listed first on any site that has reviews because they did a simply perfect job for us helping us move all of our stuff from a POD in the Raleigh lot into our townhouse in Durham. Ms. Pleasants was also awesome and very timely in all her communications regarding scheduling, payment, and following up to see that the work was done to our satisfaction. Simply the best moving experience we've had and we've moved a LOT.

This is the second time I have used M&L Movers. They continue to be fantastic! Their attention to detail and their jovial attitude clearly show that the owner chooses quality employees who care about how they represent the company. Hire them!

I reached out to this place several months ago for a move that didn't happen. So I decided to use them for a move a couple weeks ago based on the great customer service I received during my last interaction. Set up was easy. I did a verbal run down of what was being moved and all logistics. I was forwarded an invoice with a complete breakdown of my items and was able to make an electronic deposit. I had a few changes prior to the move date which were received with no issue and updated immediately.

The day of the move was pretty seamless. Two movers showed up, on time, along with the owner. He's a really nice guy who pretty much just made sure things ran as smoothly as they did. I had everything ready to go so not only did they not go over my allotted time but they actually finished a little early.

I'll need help again in the near future so I'd definitely reach back out to them for support.

I had a complicated request of getting bedroom furniture up a ladder and into a lofted space. I went over the details and logistics over the phone with their office manager, who was cheerful, kind, and thoughtful. The day of, they gave me a call before their arrival, got here right on time, and quickly got to work. They completed the complicated furniture move and over 30 boxes in a little over an hour!

I had to clean out a storage unit that was jam-packed with file cabinets. The office furniture consisted of about a dozen pieces that were each in the range of 100-200 pounds -- way more than I could have handled myself. I messaged a number of movers / junk removal services through Yelp, and M&L responded promptly. Their estimate was much lower than two other movers who responded. I also appreciated that M&L was offering to get there within a couple of hours of my initial request. I was on a tight timeline and had to get it done that day. I booked them, and they showed up on time. They were very polite and efficient. It couldn't have gone much faster or easier from my end. I would definitely recommend them to other people who have a job like this.
