Meet the Abmas: We've been part of the Wyckoff landscape for over 85 years! Nine decades and four generations later, we are still Bergen County's only produce and poultry farm. We pride ourselves on our family's tradition of hard work, honest values, and selfless service. In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, we provide the community with the highest-quality fresh produce, poultry and eggs from our own chickens, daily baked goods from our "scratch" bakery, homemade specialties from our kitchen, and artfully grown plants from our greenhouses.

I have an adult daughter who uses a walker. Are these areas wheelchair/walker accessable?

      A:

I remember it is a little hilly but I don't think there were steps. You should call them to verify

    • Q:

      Can you bring a stroller?

      A:

Hello, yes our farm is stroller friendly. If you are taking the hayride to the pumpkin patch, a stroller is not allowed on but you may park it in the loading area.

Abma's Farm is a fantastic, friendly, family-owned farm. There's something to do for everyone - they have a greenhouse with lots of plants and flowers for sale, a petting zoo, and a farm market with fresh food, gifts, locally made honey and a wine room!
Their newly renovated & expanded petting zoo is great - they have bunnies, goats, alpacas, cows, ducks and more. I shop at the Farm Market every few weeks to stock up on fresh eggs and chicken, veggies, cheese, and baked goods. Their bakery items especially donuts and breakfast breads are delicious and their cranberry pecan chicken salad is fantastic too (ask the Jonas Brothers - they say it's their favorite!)
Their prices are comparable for fresh and farm-grown foods. You know where your food is coming from, which to me is worth every penny.
They do really fun events year round for kids and adults - strawberry picking, hay rides, farm dinners. I planned a hayride/pumpkin picking and wine tasting party for myself and about 20 friends/family last September. Most of the guests were adults in their 30s and older - we only had one small child in the party and we all had a total BLAST. I worked with Amanda during the planning process and she was very helpful and communicative. The price per person was very reasonable and even though the farm was super busy on the fall Saturday of our event, it went smoothly and everyone had a great time. It gets VERY busy on fall weekends, much like any farm, so go early and book in advance if you want to do a hayride or wine tasting. Can't say enough good things about this wonderful farm.

My family and I went to this farm today. I have to small children a 2 1/2 year old (closer to 3) and a 6 month old. I really enjoyed the fact that we were able to visit the petting zoo and the small pumpkin patch without going on the hayride. (This can be quite difficult with a baby.). My daughter enjoyed herself and it was a wonderful day out with the family. We will definitely be back next year.

Recently found this spot and LOVE IT. They have wine tasting, adorable petting zoo, and great donuts! A bit busy on the weekend but that's expected on a beautiful fall day. Super cute atmosphere and perfect for kids of all ages. The petting zoo was so cute and very clean.

One of the best zucchini breads out there baby! Cute place to find little treats and organic foods. Fresh eggs that you can pack in a box yourself; kind of like egg picking ... the pumpkin patch was okay..

We went to the petting zoo on Saturday and my 2yo son had a fever right away. He's been healthy. Now he's been on and off having fever plus diarrhea the 3rd day.

We should've left once we paid the admission and entered, the animal smell was really bad even in open air environment. The sanitation is a question there.

Also they don't have hand sanitizer at petting zoo. Need to go to the store(?). After we exit the petting zoo and entered the store, the line was wrapping around the store. Impossible to get sanitation wipes.

Since this place gears towards kids, they should've been more careful of the sanitation and provide hand sanitizer. At least.

This place is gorgeous. I love how organized it is and how easy to find everything I needed. It's a straight ride from the city and very much worth the trip to get the freshest and best produce. I have this device that measures the nitrate level on the produce and everything passed the test so you're getting what you're paying for. Thumbs up!!!I will definitely return!!!

I'm been coming to Abma's for about 13 years.....initially I used to take my son when he was a toddler because they have animals and you can buy crackers and carrots to feed them. Llamas, ponies, piglets, a sweet and docile calf, turkeys, pheasants. It's a cute country "zoo."

Sadly, those cute little piglets end up as pork chops and bacon lol.

Abma's has quite a bit of farmland in Wycoff and sells their produce and other locally grown fruits and veggies. They also have an on site bakery that is baking some really tasty treats. Some of the best items that I have sampled at Abmas.

      1. Apple and cherry turnovers.
      2. All the muffins (esp the morning glory and blueberry)
      3. Chocolate and vanilla glazed donuts.
      4. The home made mozzarella is amazing.
      5. The eggs are fresh and from their chickens.
      6. All the chicken they sell is freshly killed on site
      7. Chicken salad with bacon wrap
      8. Wonderful salads: Cobb, Mesclun with goat cheese, etc.
      9. Freshly squeezed, super sweet Florida orange juice.

The produce is fantastic! Today I purchased some Abma's grown strawberrries. In July, I will be heading up to buy some Abma's home grown tomatoes.

They also sell local honey (for those of you trying to ward of seasonal allergies.)

My son is in junior high now and was at school today....but I still had to take a little walk up the hill to say hello to the animals.

Tomorrow I head back to work in the city, but today on my day off...........I was a country girl buying veggies at the farm and petting a calf.

This place is a hidden gem! I recently found out about this place and visited with family and the nephews and neice ages 5-12. They all had a nice time!!! There was 6 adults and we really enjoyed it as well. We did wine tasting which was very cheap and definitely worth it!!!! Found a new fav wine! We got a cute wine glass with their logo on it included! The kids got to see bunnies, cows, goats, and other farm animals. The market had veggies, fruits, jams, candy, food, pies, and more!!! The pies are Delicious!!!! We will be coming back for more pie and wine! The selection of wines for the tasting was really good! The kids get to see the animals for free and you only pay for the crackers to feed the animals. Very affordable. They have a garden and green house. check the website or call to find out about more events depending on the month or season. They have a picnic area with tables. Plenty of parking. Cute area! Great for kids and adult.
