Small review on here to say that these guys did a great job on my car after it was in an accident little over a month ago. Looks like it never happened at all. Thanks again, fellas. Highly recommend.

So, I've been to body shops everywhere. When you live in the Bay Area, you're gonna get dinged whenever you go. Doesn't matter if it's a stone on the freeway that just happens to bounce off your windshield, or the surprise paint marks you find when you get back to your parking spot from work, or if it's that nasty side swipe you just happened to get into. Great stuff, driving in the bay.

But Alameda Auto Body kept me at ease. Hector and Diane I spoke with at length and they were professional and fantastic and incredibly helpful. I had no sticker shock whatsoever, too - Hector worked with my budget and was extremely reasonable with my 2015 Mazda no-longer-New-after-a-few-dents. I can't recommend this place enough. There are good auto body shops in Alameda, and then there's Alameda Auto Body, a cut above the rest. Go here first!

Have had mixed experience with Alameda Auto Body. Started out great with first project - to fix a sagging, damaged bumper. Service was very attentive and it was finished a little earlier than expected. The service person even stayed past closing to wait for to pick it up. The trouble started a few weeks later though. The bumper started to sag again and I took it back. They reassessed it quickly and found that there was a flaw in the bumper design that would cause it to sag over time. The only solution was to order a new bumper as the damage, wear and tear to the original bumper was too much. To their credit, and to honor their lifetime warranty, they offered to waive the installation fee if I were to order a new bumper. They even got me a new bumper for a Toyota employee pricing.

So the rates and the warranty were great, but the problem was more their responsiveness to correspondence. It took repeated voicemails and emails left with them over almost a month's time to get final pricing, scheduling, or even a simple call back. It required some chasing down on the customer's part, which is never good. The service person was apologetic and nice, citing a busy workload.

When we finally settled on a service date, I brought it in and was promised updates and an ETA of Thursday EOD, Friday early morning at the latest. Thursday came and I had to chase the service person again. Was promised a call back in an hour. Three hours later, I had to call them to follow up. A different service person answered and let me know that they have the part, but had not started on it. S/he said it would be ready on Friday, but could not promise the exact time, which is counter to the "early Friday at the latest" promise. All the above would have been fine had it just been for basic courtesy and proactive communication to keep the customer updated so that I could adjust my schedule accordingly.

I liked their initial service and rates so much that I lined up two more installations with them. Hoping that those go better, otherwise, I might have to find another regular shop.

To summarize, great rates, good attitude, trustworthy in terms of the quote estimates, but reliability, timeliness and responsiveness of service seems to vary depending on workload. Would recommend them, but would urge that they be kept to their timelines and promise to respond.

Say no more... you have come to the right place! Some lady slammed into my car, I needed a new hood and some other jazz, they handled the insurance for me, were quick and efficient and Duy in particular helped me out calling me right back when I asked if he could replace my tire AND fixed my broken glove compartment. EXCELLENT PRICES here too! In addition they're location is sooo convenient and easy in and out of this cool place. Love all these young professionals doing their thing. Will definitely be my family's go to for any body work! Hey wait forgot to find out if they also fix more than body work! I may even have a new mechanic here!!!

I went down here a couple of days ago to get a quote for my front bumper and duy the guy in the office that time really helpful and friendly and give me an estimate I can't refused. The staff really helpful and friendly and they even vacuum and clean my car. Thank you!

They did a great job fixing my bumper. Very quick & thorough. It looks as good as new and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely go back there

David and his crew are the best. They fix my Gizmo (Prius C) perfectly like nothing happened. They also fixed my daughter's Toyota Corolla and they did an excellent job as well.

The place is great. I've taken it to them twice for some cosmetic repairs to my bumper and fender and they were always reasonably priced professional and they even wash and vacuum the interior of my car.

Early last year I replaced my passenger headlight. I was now left with my original (driver's side) headlight which had a hazy lens. I tried various over the counter headlight cleaners, and none were able to get it close to new. I showed Hector at AAB on a Saturday, he said to bring it back during the week so ho could have one of their guys take a look. I brought it in during my lunch, and 20 minutes later I was very pleased to see a new looking headlight. Each person I spoke to was very nice and professional. I plan to bring all my auto body needs back to this place! And thank you again Hector & team! Much appreciated!
