Samir assisted me in installing my ADU A/C and relocating my main house AC condenser. I found him to be extremely communicative, patiently explaining the intricacies of each task to ensure I fully understood the process.

The ADU A/C, a two-zone mini-split heat pump AC, was expertly installed by Samir's team. They took care to install the line sets before covering the ceilings and walls, returning later to install the outdoor and in-house units in a second phase.

Regarding the main house AC condenser, Samir's team identified a refrigerant leak caused by a king valve issue. Despite requiring an extra visit to rectify the problem after the delivery of R22 refrigerant, they handled the situation with professionalism.

Given the nature of my projects, Samir and his team made multiple visits to ensure everything was completed to satisfaction. I'm grateful for Samir's reasonable pricing and the exceptional quality of their work. I wholeheartedly recommend Samir to any homeowners in need of HVAC services.

My old furnace did not work. After review of 3 estimates from different contractors, I chose Sam's service from Altai to replace with a new one. Sam is always punctual, responsive and professional. Strongly recommend!

A repairman identified our furnace as too old and unsafe. He recommended Sam and Altai to install a new one. I called Sam on a late Tuesday afternoon. He came out to our house after 7 pm that evening to survey the job, and said he and his crew could have a new furnace up and running by the next evening. Sure enough, they arrived at 1 pm the next afternoon and by between 4 and 5 pm they had removed the old furnace, got the gas connection up to code and a new furnace was warming the house when I got home from work. The whole process was incredibly seamless and easy. Needless to say, I was mighty impressed. Cannot recommend them enough.

On the day of the job, Sam and his helper started the job right on schedule, and Sam gave a detailed explanation of what he planned to do. He was careful to get our approval for all the decisions, and he kept us informed on his progress. His assistant is well versed in code requirements for all the local cities, and everything was performed up to code. Sam did expert work on this job, was careful and efficient, and gave us a very fair and competitive price.

Based on this excellent experience, Sam is my new go-to HVAC contractor who I plan to work with for all of my future HVAC work.

Our furnace needed repair so we contacted Altai Heating & Air. The service technician arrived at 6:00 PM. He was very familiar with our furnace manufacturer and was able to immediately find the problem. Our furnace is 15 years old. We discussed options repair or replace. The service technician Samir pointed out several mistakes made when our furnace was installed 15 years ago. Because of the age of furnace . We decided replacement was the best option. Work started immediately and was completed in 3 1/2 hours. The installation was very professionally done. The new ducts installed meet the required size for the new furnace. I highly recommend the Altai Heating & Air because their service is very professional and their service technician is wealth of knowledge on the correct installation of a furnace

Had a horrible experience attempting to work with them. Called them based on positive Yelp reviews. Given a two hour window in the a.m. the following week to diagnose a furnace issue. Called them just prior to the end of the window to inquire about the tech's arrival. Was advised that the tech was busy on a call and would not be coming out. Sam came out at 4:00 that day and advised he would need to order a part and they would be back in touch once the part was available. Over the next two weeks, I received zero follow up calls on the return visit to repair my furnace. I called and was informed that the wrong part was delivered, and they would be back in touch once the correct part arrived. Again silence. The last time I inquired about the status, they did not reply.

This is a two person tech business and they clearly are very busy at this time of year. Given the non-existent follow up, I would strongly urge you look elsewhere.

We got several quotes to install AC for our home but ultimately chose Sam because he seemed very knowledgeable and honest. He did a great job installing our AC and went out of his way to explain all of the steps he took. However, we quickly realized after turning on the AC that the hottest room of the house (the kitchen/family room area) was not being cooled down enough. Sam agreed to return to install another vent in the room. After nearly two months of many follow-up texts and phone calls, the work still hasn't been completed. The money we spent with Sam feels like a waste because the area in the house where we spend the most time is still very hot. In hindsight, I wish I would have worked with a larger, more reputable company. I now need to contact a bunch of HVAC companies, get quotes, and schedule this outstanding work to be done--which is a huge waste of time.

The owner, Samir, is a humble and honest guy. He was referred by a HVAC repair company. I was hesitate to have him to do the job for me initially as I only see one star on Yelp. However, the repair company said good things about him, and he came on the same day when I called him for an estimate, while the other company made me wait for couple weeks. Sam replaced the entire HVAC system which included the furnace and AC with a very reasonable price. He knows exactly what he is doing. He even go beyond another step. He helped me to build a very nice wood cover for my AC unit in the backyard. His great work is so much appreciated. They also have a follow up call to make sure the unit is working well. I can enjoy the hot summer now, thanks Sam. I highly recommend them.

I called Altai 6504230200 number on Sunday 12/29/19 and made an appointment for 12/31/19 from 10:00 to 12:00 for furnace maintenance. When nobody showed up by 11:07 I decided to double check and called the same number. The lady on the phone promised to check and call me back. It never happened. I called again. She promised to check with her manager and call back. It did not happen as well. Next time I called nobody picked up the phone. It affected my schedule and no work was done. I do not think any further comments are required.
