Fourteen years ago, Jesus first worked on my Maytag washer/dryer combo. The unit is now at least 25 years old, and thanks to Jesus it is still running. He's actually been out a few times since the original repair for other reasons, and each time he's been honest, knowledgeable, and priced very fair. He really knows his appliances.
Today he responded quickly to my request for service and showed up same-day. The dryer drive belt had finally gone, and he quickly retrieved the part and fixed the machine.

I called on 12/30/10 for service on a Maytag washing machine. While other appliance service techs were closed, Jesus was able to come out the same day and fix up my washer.
Turns out the lid switch assembly had died, causing the washer to fail to run the tub (i.e. no spin cycle, no, well, washing.)
Jesus saves. Washer is fixed. It might not be cheap ($187.05 for parts plus hour labor), but then again, I'm too old to smell like a hipster.

Honest, helpful and good prices.
Saved me a big spend by twice helping troubleshoot without charging a fee on the phone.
Eventually when he did come, issue was resolved in predictable timeline for low price.
As parent of two elementary schooler with full time job, I appreciated Jesus (his first name) can do and helpful attitude.

I had a difficult time finding a repair service that would both umstach full size stackable washer dryer and assess the repairs. Sears told me I needed a new washer dryer set, and the other repair services ask that I unstack them before they come and assess repairs.
Atech was fabulous. A weekend appointment, Jesus came over and immediately indicated something had jammed into the gears of the dryer. He was able to take the front of the dryer off without having to unstack them, remove the obstacle causing the drum to jam, put it back together and the dryer was in working order within 30 minutes. Dryer is like new and it cost only $150. Jesus gave me a 2 hr time slot and he was still 30 minutes late from that time. That was a bit frustrating wasting 2hr of my time waiting for him. He came and saw what was wrong. Worked on it for 5 minutes by unclogging some junk and asked for $80. I said what?? He smiled and said well Sears would have costed you $200. I wasn't even able to use the yelp $20 coupon. He said it wasn't valid for the service requested. I did ask for a discount to pay cash and he eventually charged me $65. I live and learn.

Unfortunately, my experience didn't pan out. I scheduled an appointment via yelp messaging, which I thought was great. Jesus was super quick to respond and he confirmed that I was on the schedule. I planned to work from home so I could be there when he arrived. My time-slot came and went so I texted him and he said he didn't have any record of me on the schedule so I pointed him to our yelp conversation. He admitted the error and apologized, things happen, I get it. We rescheduled for the next week.
Again I left work early to make it home in time to meet him and my time-slot comes and goes again. I reach out to ask if he's still coming, he says he is and will be there as soon as he wraps up, 20 minutes of so. 15 minutes after our agreed upon time-slot he says he's outside. I ask him to ring the bell. No response. 5 minutes later I walk downstairs, don't see anyone, text him back, and no response again. I'm not sure what happened, maybe he realized he went to the wrong place and just gave up, but it's really unprofessional to just leave your customers hanging. I feel like I was more than understanding and very flexible and that was just rude.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND.
We had an issue with our fridge (it wouldn't stop cooling so everything was freezing in the fridge).
We call them and were in contact with Jesus. He came over and check the fridge and told us that he would order a part and come back to change the part within a week.
A week later we still had no answer so I tried to contact him again, and from there no answer... I had to use one of my friend's phone to get an answer from him. And from there it was "I will come next week" and the following week, "I will come next week"...
Anyway, it's needless to say that he never came and here we are two months after with him still telling us that he will come next week with the part.

Its not our responsibility or problem when manufacture first has the wrong info and also keep us waiting for a backorder part that at the end of the road is NOT LONGER AVAILABLE.
Like you, their many customers that experienced this problems and we the tech have pay with bad customer service.

Competently took apart the gas dryer, troubleshooted the issue, cleaned out an obstruction, cleaned and reassembled and everything is perfect now.

Another great job by Jesus. I made an appointment off the website via chat and he texted back said he had a window the next day of two hours well he came within that two hour window came in within an hour and had the part looked at the problem and said this is it I'll fix it it was in and out within an hour and my oven now works. I had some good conversation with Jesus about appliances, the man is knowledgeable, professional and nice. Did I tell you I got the same treatment 4 years ago from Jesus, great job.

My partner calls a repair service, they do not take credit cards. Call another person, waaaaaa, it's the guy's birthday. Third time and Jesus was the charm. We told him the type of dryer and he said it could be different problems. I thought igniter, Jesus comes by, does some diagnostics, finds out the problem, has the parts and viola, back in business. Quick, reasonable and very patience while explaining what he was doing. I was being nosey and watching him, figuring I would know what to do when the same part goes out again, 20 years alter, if I can remember that far ahead, hehehe. The plus is he take credit cards. He said he works weekends too.

Jesus is a MIRACLE WORKER!!!!
He could diagnose the problem with the dryer by its sound. In fact, he diagnosed the problem even BEFORE we were meeting, when I requested a quote over yelp!
Jesus was speedy, efficient, kind, honest, and thorough. He even was the most reasonable of all the other repair quotes. When he went to take apart the dryer, he said: "Do you have a vacuum?" and even VACUUMED UNDERNEATH THE DRYER CABLES (*yick!*) but he did so with a smile.
I got to hear a little bit of his story, I was asking him about it, and he said he started off by working for his dad, doing repairs since high school.

We used to have a great relationship with Jesus. But he has become non-responsive. I went without an oven for 4 months while I was waiting on a part. He said he would come on a Tuesday and never showed. I finally went with someone else and all it was a connection that was not reconnected. Very disappointing
