Barbarossa Lounge

Let me start by saying I really didn't want to hate on this place. The vibes are always right and the drinks are always on point, but this last time that my friends and I came here (04/14) we were treated absolutely TERRIBLY by security and staff. We bought tickets for the event they were having and when I asked a simple question about whether the line was for ticket holders or not, the security guard on sight full on YELLED at me. I tried to move past it anyways because I understand it's a Friday night and ppl are crazy BUT then once we got in, the bartender basically threw the drink at me. 50% of it spilled out the cup and there was no offer to make another one.

The only thing that saved this was the music and the overall vibes. I was so embarrassed bc like I said I love coming here and I was bragging to my friends about all the times I've had here and how amazing it is and then to be met with THIS.

Barbarossa please do better. Better with your staff, better with the handling of your events, and your bartenders. I'm not gonna let one bad experience ruin my love for this place but it definitely made me step back.

We were in town with another couple from Denver and someone told us about this hidden gem. The drinks. The ambience. The staff and front door guys were absolutely amazing. We had a blast!!!! And when we come back again when in town this will be a definite stop. The music was a whole vibe!

As much as I appreciate good interior design, it's rare for me to come across a venue that actually makes think, "wow this is oozing with sex appeal." But hey, the back room of Barbarossa totally managed this, with the lighting, leather seats, wooden floors, you name it.

Of course, a lounge isn't much just for the vibes, and fortunately, they deliver on their cocktail program as well, offering up a solid selection of tasty, and reasonably priced cocktails. A good majority of them seem to be constant, with a handful of their seasonal grog selection rotating out.

They have food on hand too for when you get the munchies, but I can't comment on that too much. And the best part? They weren't that busy, even around 8pm on a Friday night. I imagine it picks up on the weekends when the dance floor opens up, but otherwise, Barbarossa would make for a great date spot if you're looking for a reasonably quiet place to chat.

Venue - While all the seating I saw was high counter seating or sofas, the lounge itself is really spacious and easy to maneuver around. The dance floor, I believe, is down a flight of stairs, but everything else seems accessible.

Bathroom - Didn't check them out.

What a fantastic place! I have been to Barbarossa now a few times and can conclude that it's great! During the week it's easy to find seating but on the weekends Barbarossa gets quite busy and hectic.

I highly recommend coming here for happy hour- they have great drinks and food. I highly recommend trying their ceviche.

Great place to meet some friends after work for a drink. Highly recommend and will be back soon!

Bouncer is an absolute nightmare. 2 lines, one line for "general admission" and another for the classic "99% hot girls crowded". Waited for over 1 and a half hours, line did not move one bit. When asked bouncer got aggressive and threaten to fight me and my group of friends. Will never come back, I will take my money and time else where, thanks

This was my absolute favorite bar when I used to work in the city. If anybody asked me where I wanted to go for happy hour, it was always Barbarossa!

Their happy hour is great and doesn't end too early like most happy hours. One of my favorite things on HH were the seasonal grogs, and on the regular cocktail menu I loved Sophie's elixir.

There is plenty of space in this bar towards the back, so if it's crowded in the front try and sneak through to the back if the curtains are opened. The bar even extends into the back room so you don't have to head back to the front bar.

My favorite thing about this bar was the ambiance. The drinks were great, and you could enjoy them in a classy setting. Whether you're on a date or not, I just love the feeling of this bar. It's classy, not trashy, and even a little edgy with the subtle BDSM decor.

This is a great place for a date, weeknight happy hour, or outing with friends. The bartenders are all awesome and will treat you right!

Overall very nice, the drinks were unique and delicious . The service was very attentive and ambiance was special.

I'll surely be going there again soon.

Another beautiful night to hang out with friends in this beautiful Establishment, music is wonderful, the crowd is Beautiful, everyone seems to have fun, the owner Arash make sure that you're well taken care of . Loved this place. Great service and a beautiful space. Delicious drinks and snacks. Would go back.

The night started okay here but then it went downhill. Overpriced and the service is awful. I kept raising my hand to grab their attention for service. But apparently to the girl that took over for the previous server, we either weren't too good for
her because she ignored the us the whole time.

Your drinks were okay but your service was horrible. Please do better because I've actually had a good time here before and I hate leaving a bad review.
