I ordered a washer and dryer for my daughter's new apartment, however when it was delivered, the tech said it wouldn't fit down the basement stairs so they put it back on the truck and told me that I would receive an email with a cancellation of my order and a refund or credit within 24hrs. This never happened. I have proceeded to call every day since then for an update as I am not able to cancel the order on the website because it says the order is in process. I get transferred multiple times every time I call and even though they give me a reference number for the conversation, I have to re hash the whole situation each time I call. I finally was able to talk to a manager yesterday he assured me he was taking responsibility for this and I would hear back from him with a resolution within 24hrs which has since come and gone. I cannot reorder a smaller set as I have not received any refund. Their customer service is terrible as well as their communication.

I should have checked the reviews on here before but since i've been there plenty of times I thought this would be smooth.
This turned into the worst bit of customer service i've experienced.
I went there to pickup a gift that I ordered online. I purchased it online and it was ready later that day after seeing my email update. I couldn't pick it up until today (12/19) around early afternoon. I got there and they couldn't find my item and ended up grabbing one from the floor. Even then there appeared to be an issue and I asked what was going on. They explained that it shows it was already picked up. I ask for clarity and they said they're working on it. Finally, the guy I was dealing with explained his GM gave him an update that it was indeed picked up on Sunday. He showed me a picture of someone that was clearly not me. So he said they could not do anything to help me and to call 1-800-Best-Buy lol. It took a few seconds to process how dumbs this sounds because this would have been their mistake. The first thing they asked after scanning my pickup barcode was my ID. How/why would they have released this to someone without checking their ID? But the fact they just couldn't do anything considering it was their mistake was baffling. I think anyone could agree they were wrong and should have let me pickup my item. The customer service at this Best Buy is the absolute worst. Workers are poorly managed, very poorly trained. Trying to find someone to help you is like going on a fishing trip. You have to build in lots of time waiting around hoping that someone will jump on your line. Then when one does, they are not the right one who can answer your question. They just send you to another part of the pond to throw in your line and hope for another bite. I suspect that we will have another vacant store space in San Francisco in the near future. I do hope everyone there is able to find jobs they like when this store closes.

Severely understaffed. You can easily wait 30 minutes for someone to help you and that is only if you try to run around and track someone down. Save your time and go to another Best Buy.

Went in looking to buy a $3,000 + laptop. Stood around for 15mins and finally someone asked if I was being helped which I replied no I was waiting for someone to help me and he said ok and just walked off. I'll stick with Amazon

returned damaged refrigerator and their refund time is ridicules.. it has been over a month and they said refund will occur in next billing cycle. why do i have to wait for their billing cycle. retailers usualy do refunds in a few days. so it has been over a month and i have no idea when i will receive a refund. do not buy appliances or tv and expect a reasonable time for a refund

I ordered a cell phone as a gift for my father from Best Buy. The phone was never delivered to my address. I have evidence that the package was never delivered to my building and yet Best Buy offered no exchange or refund for my item. I sat through an hour+ customer service chat and 2hrs of phone conversations and Best Buy refused to take responsibility for my undelivered order. They said my best option was to contact local law enforcement. Do not order from Best Buy, they do not care about accountability as a major corporation and customer satisfaction does not matter to their bottom line.

ANYONE that purchases an appliance at Best Buy should have their head examined.
(I have scheduled an appointment with my shrink for early next week)
I was fifteen days over my warranty when my stove went out. TOTALLY.
It was the Best Buy store brand Insignia. I was told their was nothing they could do and generally go f**k myself.

Best Buy cost 20% more than Home Depot and their delivery service was less than helpful. The refrigerator was a half inch wider than their website indicated. So I had to remove a door to my house. It took me longer than five minutes so the delivery team just left without telling me. I couldn't reach anybody at Best Buy to talk to and their website won't let me cancel the order...
