Bravo's Landscaping Services

After getting our tiny front lawn practically decimated by gophers, we decided to give it one more try. Most of the houses in our neighborhood have gone to natives and while that may be the route down the road, wanted to keep this 400 square feet of lawn for a few more years.
We had a guy highly recommended in the neighborhood for trimming trees come and start the project, however, he didn't know anything about laying sod, really, luckily for us, he abandoned the job in the cover of darkness, literally. He just left all our gardening tools, green bin, and sod, strewn all around the front. And he even absconded with our measuring tape and utility knife.
It was time to hire a real pro.
After getting three estimates, we decided to go with Francisco Bravo. Not only did he come in the cheapest, he had the most glowing reviews as well. We usually go with the middle of the road, but the amount of stellar reviews steered us towards choosing Bravo's.
What I liked about Francisco's crew was the fact that they paid attention to detail, even when no one was watching. To clear the old sod out, they made sure every little weed, grass, and earthworm was removed.
The project involved laying down gopher wire, to help alleviate the gopher problem, and I was concerned that after they laid down the wire, they wouldn't put a thin layer of topsoil. When I brought this up to Francisco, he just texted back, "Yes, all under control."
I swear, if he sounded annoyed that I was telling him how to do his job, he masked it pretty well. They did this, as assured.

We can't be happier and more satisfied. Francisco's crew were really professionals at their work. Just the nicest guys, too, especially Gregorio and Merton.

We have a tiny lawn area, but it looks like a million bucks. I appreciated that Francisco gave me two choices for sod. I also appreciate that he shopped locally, Bee Green in Oakland.

Francisco is a man of few words, but he knows what he's doing and he has the quiet confidence of a man who has many years of experience. I also watched him with his crew, and he's kind and respectful to them as well. He also gets in there to work, mind you, but they're so good by themselves, that they didn't need a lot of supervision.

The next project would be a flagstone walkway in the back. By the way, Francisco will give you an estimate on the spot. He won't make you wait days. This absolutely helps as far as making a decision.

I contacted Francisco about cutting trees that were growing from the neighboring property onto my property and needed to be trimmed. The trees were also causing my fence to lean, so I needed my fence replaced as well. Francisco said he and his crew could complete both jobs and provided a competitive quote.

Francisco and his crew arrived early for the job and finished the tree trimming and the new fence within a day and a half. They also cleaned up all debris and hauled it away. I recommend this business for anyone looking for quality landscaping work at a competitive price.

We haven't managed our yard in many years, everything was overgrown and junky. Francisco and his team did AMAZING work! They trimmed, chopped & hauled it all away and made sure the patio was cleaned up nicely. We now have our yard at a blank slate to continue working on.
