City Tavern

Love this place. It has everything I could ask for in a neighborhood bar/restaurant. The food is great - wings, 670 burger and City Shrooms are favorites - the selection of beer is extensive and always cold - solid cocktails and one of the best bourbon lists in the city round out the drink menu. The staff is always attentive and friendly and go out of their way to make your experience a positive one. The downtown skyline view and the free parking are the cherries on top of this cool spot. Highly recommend!

Friends and I frequent this place because of the french dip, it's seriously so good! Not to mention the cheeseburger fries, been going to trivia on Wednesdays for a long time! Service is always great, and they have PARKING!!! Huge bonus with meters being removed recently

Fantastic fries and my wife's chicken wrap and my French dip were both delicious. Mushroom dip is awesome.

After going to Cray a few times and not hating it...but something was missing, I never went to Factory on 4th. Seemed like a missed opportunity that it also closed.
Working the Smith Hardware Bldg. I was hoping this one was better.

Service was really great and friendly. Food was delicious. I had the Firebird Chicken sandwich that was outstanding. My friend, who judges places based on their burger was really pleased with hers.
The side of mac and cheese was really tasty and a good portion for only 2 bucks.
We have a winner here. I hope they have better luck than the previous two places because they deserve to make it. I am excited to try Happy Hour!
Oh I can't believe I almost forgot the desert of a grilled PB&J sandwich served warm with awesome vanilla ice cream. WTF? So good.

Cold beer and great service! Highly recommend checking this place out. It's near several other bars that you can bar hop to so it makes for a very fun night!

Went for an early lunch with my girlfriend. Service was excellent, $2 great lakes cloud duster can't go wrong! I had the sabsauce portabella sandwhich with the cucumber tomato feta salad. I was really impressed with both. It made for a nice lighter lunch that wasn't too filling.

The location is a but out of the way in a more industrial part of town, but it's worth going out of your way.

We stopped in for brunch here last week, and if you've eaten here, you know it's good. If you haven't hit this spot, let me say: plenty of parking, lots of light/atmosphere, great service, excellent food and drinks.

Bloody Mary - spicy and garnished with all the particulars (pepper jack cheese, pickles, olives). Kind of a boozy salad, if you will. The pumpkin spice donut holes - big and delicious, definitely a shareable. I ordered the BLT, which comes with French fries. Peppered bacon makes all the difference! The spouse had their country scramble dish and I wanted to eat those cheesy potatoes all day, too.

FYI, they also offer their regular menu during brunch, if you are, or someone in your group is, one of those people (who are these people?!)who don't like "brunch." I would also recommend City Tavern for sports-viewing - big TVs and they are cool about putting different channels up on request.

We love getting take out from City Tavern! Their caprese flatbread is amazing and we also love the farmhouse pulled pork sandwich! The sandwich is huge! Maybe one day, we will get in there to eat inside, but in the meantime, we thoroughly enjoy their food take out!

City Tavern does not disappoint! Always great food, great service, and a great time! The stuffed pepper app...woah...to die for! Everything I've had there is delicious! The mushroom dip is sinfully awesome! I want to check out trivia night soon as well...I'm sure that will be a blast. I love that they have a parking lot as well. Bonus!

Went there for the first time and had 4 people in our party and had a wonderful experience. Greek wrap, pesto chicken, chicken sandwich and California wrap were all good. The side salad was almost a meal of itself, the entrees were fairly priced and the beers and drink selection was great. Jenna, our server was wonderful.
