Don't let the small numbers of reviews scare you away. ENe is amazing. We stopped in for a "first dinner" at 5:00pm before heading to Olo at 9:00pm. We ordered the Kung Pao Cauliflower and the Omakaze Shokado. The cauliflower was "Dope". It had the lightest most wonderful tempura and was the perfect texture with just the right amount of sauce. The Omakaze Shokado had a wide variety of small bites but the sashimi and oysters were the highlight for me. The Yellow Fin tuna pieces were large and thick yet buttery and wonderful. This was the best sashimi I have had in a long time if ever. To top it off, the service was wonderful. Why wait I line for Nobu when ENe has a table.

We found this place on yelp and thought to "give it a try". The food was just okay....nothing to get excited about. We tried the aburi sushi, Natto/Avocado, negitoro and other dishes..... sorry but we didn't find the food worth the price.
The drinks/cocktails that we ordered tasted great. Nice work on creating/making sake with traditional western cocktail mixes that taste great.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Payton H.Bonney Lake, WA02916May 16, 2022
Although the service was wonderful, the food was just not up to par. I decided to give ENe a chance against my better judgement after being disappointed with the tapas selection at Nubo once before. My partner and I ordered the Beef Bolgogi Pasta (decent), Katsu sando (served on untoasted wonder bread), spicy tuna temaki (the highlight of my meal), and the Ene style Yuzu ceviche. Although I wasn't expecting a classic ceviche, I was expecting something that at least halfway resembled what any average joe's perception of ceviche would be. Instead I was given a selection of raw seafood served on a bed of spring green mix that I recognized as what Nubo attempted to pass off as "cabbage" on their bao tapas. It was some sort of "deconstructed" version
of ceviche wasn't at all chopped or presented in a way that was either visibly appealing or easy to consume. I wish I had taken a photo before I dug in but it's pretty easy to visualize. Just imagine prawns and octopus on spring mix with a bit of caviar. Although I love seafood, I was entirely disappointed and ended up just wishing I had ordered something else. If you do go, I recommend sticking to sushi. And to be quite frank, don't sell something as ceviche if you straight up aren't serving ceviche.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Firat A.Victoria, Canada10267Mar 3, 2021

Discovered this place by chance, and was very satisfied. It is he higher end version of Nubo, which is by next door and is owned by the same owner. It was just opened a week, and alcohol license is not ready yet - funny for a sake bar :) - but the mock wine drinks are good. The dishes are all delicious, and portion is not small. The food is indeed better, and the price is totally worthy. Waitresses are sweet and swift. Highly recommended, and will definitely come back.

E:Ne is the most amazing Japanese food! The spicy Jalapeño sushi is the most amazing roll I had! The bartender is the manager!
