Came on the weekend around 3pm and it was packed, yet moved fairly quickly. I got the middle tier option (wash, wax, and tires). I was a bit disappointed that there were still some dirty spots on my car and one tire was still dirty after the wash. After exiting, we only waited a few minutes for an open vacuum/cleaning station. Overall, it's better than a cheap car wash at the gas station, but I wish my car came out a bit cleaner.

Hello Vania, thanks for coming in and taking the time for this review. We offer a Clean Car Guarantee and if you’re not satisfied, all you have to do is alert one of our attendants, and we would be happy to issue you a “rewash” ticket . The rewash code is good for 48 hours just in case you are pressed for time.
Jamie H.Fremont, CA354964May 5, 2022I usually like car washes like this. I would probably come back, but after I brought my car home I didn't feel like the car wash did as great of a job. Parts of the tires and the corners of my windows didn't seem to have been washed. See pictures. I was a little surprised about this. I would probably give them another try because I do like the strong vaccumes at the end of the wash. The price was $22 for the middle level wash, which did include tires even though my tires seemed dusty after the wash. Is this car wash maybe water-saving or low water?

The regular prices are a bit expensive for what you get but luckily there are some deals ( Or membership) through out the week to make it worth your time. This place is about a 3.5/5 for me.
DEALS:
Tuesday's: Basic Wash is $9 (usually $12)
Thursday's: Express Wash $18 (usually $25)
OFFERINGS:
[x] free high powered vacuums (comes in two sizes)
[ ] towels / micro fiber (free with express)
[ ] air pressure gun (to loosen up dirt)
[x] wax+ tire shine available
[x] pre-bug prep area
[ ] someone to wipe down excess water after wash
I guess my main qualm with this place is that it's TOO* DIY and unless you pay for the express, you won't even get a towel after your wash to make sure the clean is streak free. I appreciate that there's no limit on vacuums if it's not busy. Without the vacuums, this place would be a solid 2/3 for me. Come prepared with your own towels and spray to make the most of your "Basic" wash!
Replying to the owner:
I appreciate your response but I don't think I'm unfair at all. To go on your analogy, you're a road side hot dog stand charging steak house prices. A road side hot dog stand that won't even give people napkins unless you want to pay extra.

First, thank you for the very detailed and thoughtful review. I can most certainly appreciate the time you took to write that. There is one thing I believe you should consider. You compared us to a full service wash where everything is taken care of. We are an express exterior car wash only and do not compete with full service washes. That's like comparing a sit down steak house restaurant to a road side hot dog stand. They don't offer the same foods or share customers. This is a perfect analogy for Extreme Express Car Wash and other full service washes. It's when customers try to link the two is when I believe causes your main "qualm" and an unfair 4 star review. I also know we go toe to toe with the best express washes across this nation. Thanks!

Curtis D.East San Jose, San Jose, CA0165Aug 21, 2018Wow the last time I came here for a wash was about 8 months and they totally screwed up the car wash concept with this wannabe fancy do it your self wash, it was one of the good things about the downtown carwashes.
My son and my cousin went 3 weeks ago and he just saw one guy from the past crew. He's just swinging around a sign not cleaning cars, he used to clean everything wheels carpets tires Windows and shine inside for not even $25 bucks And now their washes start from $12 dls. But they don't dry cars like before they used to dry the door jams and clean wheels for $10 bucks, anyway my cousin was pissed about this place, so I was thinking to bring my bmw to "extreme empty" but thank God yelp and the internet can help you research a business before you waste your money or time and first I checked for reviews on Facebook and some are made from family friends or workers of the owner, when I went the last time I remember that the cashier told me about the owner's other business thats how I know they are helping his business by doing 5 stars reviews, come on who's gonna make a review saying that it has more lights like las vergas or the other one sayin "Husbands bring you car here"
Very dishonest in my opinion cause they're trying to build a good image for this place!
If you go to chevron on the next corner and you fill up your thank you only pay $7 bucks for a wash and bring a towel and it is totally the same!
The only thing authentic is the 3 minutes... Cause it is empty every time I pass by from work!

I have been thinking about how to reply to your authentic review of this business since you never even came here. It seems that you are upset that it's not the old way from before the remodel. I can't tell if you worked here before or if you got free washes from someone but your negativity and harshness holds no substance or reason. I am just going to ignore the fact that you reviewed other carwashes in the area with 5 stars talking about this carwash the entire time. I don't think you even went to that other wash either. IF you are upset or mad about something you should reach out direct and maybe I can help you. This keyboard gives you a lot of power and I hope that makes you feel good. Other then that, I am gonna take the high road and focus on the hundred new customers that are coming in everyday and absolutely love new the "wanna be fancy new carwash concept". Thank you for trying us out at Extreme Express Carwash. I noticed your negative review and wanted to address the misconception that you think our washes are not "worth the money". Our top wash is $25 and yes, you can go somewhere else for $10 more and get the interior vacuumed and cleaned (if you call it clean). We provide a exterior wash that only takes 3 minutes and free self-serve vacuums for you to use to your heart's content. A lot of customers really enjoy the speed and ease of use here. Yes, you vacuum yourself, yes you can go somewhere else and have someone vacuum it for you. Our concept here was to make the car wash experience faster and easier. We are the fastest wash in town and the only wash that provides powerful vacuums where you are not worried about how many quarters you have left. Also, there are no employees rummaging through your stuff. If you like full service carwashes and like waiting an hour to get your car clean, we are not for you. If you want to save money AND time we are worth your time and money. If $25 is too much we have two washes that are less and still include the free vacuums. Thank you for your attention. I hope you understand that we are not trying to compete with a full service carwash. We are offering an alternative carwash method where you can save money and most important your valuable time.
