Mountain of 'em with good seasoning. Sandos are very tasty. Great crunch to the chicken and the different flavors are all good. The only thing I miss is the burger. please bring 'em back!

We tried the classic smashburger, citric hot chicken sandwich, and citric hot smashburger -- and, of course, the fries.
We loved everything -- and had a lovely food handoff with the guy behind it all/chef. We couldn't find good parking and he ran our food across the street (thanks again!!!).
So impressed. Now that we've tried the classics, will try to snag some of his specials when they drop.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Chloe A.Hoschton, GA53051Apr 20, 2023
The food was absolutely incredible. Service even better, the chef came to chat with us to ask how we liked everything, super cool dude. Cannot wait to go back. We sat outside on the back patio afterwards and finished our beer, super low-key and relaxing environment.

First off, the food is fantastic. Spicy enough to make you cry. That alone is enough to make me come back as often as I can. But William also rotates his menu often and expertly, and he's started incorporating great veggie options, so folks who don't eat meat can experience the greatness.
Also William is always so kind and patient to customers. I don't know how he does it. One time we came in late and he was basically out of the dish we were hoping to order and he immediately offered to make it work with his remaining ingredients.
In short: give this man all your money. I wish him every good thing.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nicholas T.San Diego, CAOct 1, 2023
It's the Ferrari of chicken places...expensive but so damn good. Treat yo self! And The Lodge is a great place to hang while eating.

I'm terrible at getting around to reviewing places, but my god does this one deserve it. We've been here at least seven or eight times, and the flavors across the board are incredible. Nothing is a bad choice, eat everything.

I don't use these words lightly: this is hands-down the best fried chicken sandwich in the Bay (and I've tried them all).
Let me count a few ways this chicken sando is incredible:
- The chicken is perfectly fried and juicier than any other fried chicken around (their brine technique is A++).
- The spice (my go-to is the citric hot) is the perfect blend of tangy and spicy kick. It doesn't numb or overpower your taste buds, it only adds to the layers of flavor in each bite.
- The pear slaw.... oh the pear slaw... the juicy sweetness balances perfectly with the citric spice. It's one of my favorite parts of the sandwich.
If you're into fried chicken sandwiches and you haven't tried Fowl + Fare I don't know what you're doing with your life.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Zoe E.San Francisco, CA03Jul 29, 2023
The food here is A++, the main reason I didn't give it 5 stars is bc its got regular restaurant prices w fast food ambiance. Its a restaurant inside a bar and you can only order online thru their QR code. The bar itself has a good vibe and the drinks are good, but the prices were pretty high considering theres no waitstaff besides the bartender. There were also dogs aplenty at this establishment if thats something that enhances or degrades an experience for you

Amazing fried chicken sandwich: moist, balanced, soft bread, tasty from the first bite to the last. If you like heat, ask for the house made hot sauce
