This is the spot for sure. Bomb food, well poured drinks, and great atmosphere.
The bartenders are nice and they don't skimp on drinks --
My go to is usually a tequila soda. Pretty simple.
But most places give the bare minimum tequila before filling it with soda water.
Here, they pour a healthy amount and it gets me buzzin'.
The food here is bomb as well --
Ordered onion rings (only the best appetizer next to wings), loaded nachos (with carne), and chicharrones.
Each dish was amazing:
- onion rings were nicely breaded
- the chicharrones were crunchy and not stale, they might have fried them on the spot
- loaded nachos had a balance of guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo + the meat paired nicely with the perfect flavor
I'm not really a sports guy but the ambiance is always cool and the people there are friendly. Or mind their business. It can get rowdy during live games.
Overall, solid place and will definitely come back regularly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Darryl Y.Pleasanton, CA0525Aug 29, 2024

Great chill, old school sports bar located towards the San Leandro Marina...spacious, friendly bar staff (Jenna), reasonably priced drinks, and Porque No? Tacos serving food (a tad pricey but good) within Frank's Sports Bar and Grill.
Spot is lively but not loud! Nice for weekday happy hour, watching sports, karaoke Wednesdays and brunch on the weekend. Small private lot with street parking available on the side parallel to the railroad tracks.Helpful 29Thanks 6Love this 28Oh no 0 - Jun 29, 2023

* Just like Moses parted the red sea, I was on my way for ME time at El Torito's when I saw the first parking space as you enter Frank's parking lot available. I have been wanting to check out Frank's but weekdays HH and/or WFH crowds beats me to the parking spaces in the lot and sidewalk parking spaces by the sports bar.
* The outside of this place does no justice to the inside. It's a clean modern interior wood furnishing. I love that there is a separation between the dining area and the sports bar. Frank's is cool place to kick back and enjoy a bite & brew this side of town. The space is big, so even when it's packed it never feels crowded.
* Dish ordered: Carne asada street tacos. They did not skip on the quantity of the carne asada. Food was great, tasty, and flavorful. Next time I would love to try the nachos and/or the calamari. I would not consider this a negative towards them but would have been nice to have utensils with my order .
* Overall, experience was great. Staff was very friendly, atmosphere is awesome, decor sporty and casual. YES, Bathroom is cleaned. And of course, who doesn't love supporting your local business?! Yes, I will be back and hopefully the Angels of Parking Lot will be on my side again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Apr 18, 2023
We came here during a Warriors game and it was packed! We luckily found a table to sit at and ordered some food.
Very expensive Mexican food if you ask me but I'd say it's pretty good! Tacos $4 each is steep and probably the most I've paid for a taco in a long time. However they were pretty loaded and taste good! The nachos were also really good and a large portion. The quesadilla was good too, had a ton of cheese in it. I liked the guacamole also!
I probably won't be a regular here with the prices but would come back once in a while to watch a game, enjoy some drinks, and food.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Russell S.Tracy, CA1726Apr 30, 2024

I ordered a Lengua ultimate taco, and it was delicious! Comes wrapped for easy eating, loved it!
This is a first come first serve seating, so get there early on game days for a seat! Order drinks at the bar, order food at the counter, have a seat and have a great time! Many tv all around the bar for game watching. It's super lively during the playoffs. I loved it. Come here for your next game day environment! You won't be disappointed!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
