We found Gary on YELP and he was able to come out two days after he ordered the necessary part.

Turns out we needed a new ice-maker for our 22 year-old Jenn-Air refrigerator. He told us his reasonable price at that time.

Gary texted me this morning to give us a two-hour timeframe. And then texted again when he was 40 minutes out. He was here for less than 20 minutes, wearing shoe booties and a smile.

He replaced the icemaker, answered our questions and took the old part to recycle. Could not be happier with his level of service!

Gary came to our house a few times to fix our fridge. Each time, he was prompt and responsive. The first time, he tried to fix our fridge over the phone and didn't charge us. But the next time, it was the sensor, and then the shift board. He texts me to tell me when he's coming. His prices are also pretty reasonable. If I have any issues in the future, I'll definitely call Gary.

The 5-star reviews are REAL! Our LG washer was leaking water. Gary squeezed us in his busy schedule. Took less than 5 minutes to diagnose the issue which is very common to LG washers. It was an easy fix and Gary only charged us a fraction of what others would have charged. If you want someone with years of experience and stress free service Gary is your guy.

We have used Gary for service to our dryer and recently to the a broken water line on our fridge. After a couple of months the water line repair failed, a faulty coupler. We called Gary on a Saturday on the Memorial weekend and much to our surprise he arrived after several hours and repaired the broken coupler at no charge.

Efficient service. I have a 20+ year old Whirlpool washer & dryer. That the technician was quickly able to to diagnose the issue and repair my washer.

My dishwasher stopped working on Sunday with error E-15, which means the leakage sensor has tripped.
I called Gary on Monday morning and he came out the same day, diagnosed the problem and fixed it.
And it cost me the same amount as other contractors charge for diagnostics.
My wife was happy and so was I.

Sheesh today is a fix-it day....my Whirlpool washer decided to suddenly not work....water filled, washed, with the dial clicking on spin.....and then it shuts off....wth? Great, now I have a washer full of clothes that won't drain....well, I would've called Sears (but they're no more!) and even went on YouTube with thoughts of trying to fix it myself...hmm...sounds like the water pump according to these videos!

After some pondering I decided to leave it to the expert as it's all about opportunity cost.... so did a search on Yelp and came across Gary's In Home Appliance....great reviews and a majority of legit ones.

When I called the number, it rang, went to voicemail and stated it was full.... That's annoying and was about to continue my Yelp search but Gary called me right back to discuss the issue, day/time and asked me to text him with the address.

I appreciate his accommodating my schedule and providing available dates. Gary is old-school customer service, excellent at communicating and texted me when he was on his way. Following safety protocols and very mindful of putting on booties when he entered the house. He knew right away it was a broken switch and quickly replaced it...good thing I didn't dismantle everything myself lol!

Reasonably priced, professional and will definitely use him again. Thanks Gary! I'm off to do laundry now...

Gary was so great!!! I texted him on Sunday (his day off) thinking he'll get back on Monday. He got back to me Sunday night to setup a time for the very next day.
Our dryer was would spin but it wouldn't heat up. He switched out a part and I could feel the heat coming out of the back of the dryer! Problem fixed and it was less than 30 minutes.
The part where I really want to recommend him for anyone looking for repair is this: My mom had told him that before we could only run the dryer and nothing else at the same time bc the power would go out. If we were cooking rice or using the roaster, we couldn't use it if we were drying bc the power would go out. We didn't know why. Gary went to look where the dryer air would escape on the side of my house. When he went there, he didn't feel any heat/ air. Gary told us that bc the hot air isn't able to escape which caused the broken part to break n is what was causing an overheating in our circuit breaker causing it to switch off. I told him my husband would have to either clean out the current pathway for the air/ dirt to come out or cut a hole in the wall behind the dryer for the air to escape, but it wouldn't be anytime soon. He sat and thought and said, "I'll bring the hose here and put it over a bucket full of water for the air to escape and the water will catch the dirt so that it doesn't go ask over the place." I went n got a paint bucket and put some water in it. He cut the hose to be short to go over the bucket of water. Turned on the dryer and I could see the air come out into the bucket and the water catch the dirt. It was a brilliant (temporary) fix!!! He said, "now it won't overheat and the part won't break bc air can escape!" Omgosh! He didn't just fix the dryer part, he gave me a (temporary) fix in the longterm til my husband can clean the hose pathway or get a new hole behind the dryer. It would've been easy to come fix the part, show me it heats up n then leave. But he helped me figure out n solve the problem for the future!

Gary is awesome!! Our refrigerator was no longer cooling and so we found Gary on yelp and decided to contact him because of his excellent reviews. Which I could say was very spot on about Gary's work, knowledge, and expertise.
On top of that Gary had great customer service he is very communicative, on time, prepared, and very responsive.

Great communication, on time, and responsive:
*Gary would always text me 10-15 minutes in advance letting me know when he's on his way.
* We had to have another piece ordered to fix our refrigerator and so Gary said he would need to order the part and he would need to come back either the following day or Saturday. He was very clear that he will notify us once he gets confirmation the piece is available. The following day he confirmed he had the piece and could be available to install the part that needed repair.

Prepared:
* When i initially call Gary i mentioned that our fridge is no longer cooling and when he got to our place and opened the back of the fridge he confirmed the piece that needed repair. I asked if that was a part he needed to purchase he said no he has it with him and can fix it right now.
