I was looking for something to do on a rainy day. The security didn't let us in even though it just had 5 minutes to our ticket time. And was a little rude. The features were very interesting but the guided audio was a bit much for me. The interactions were limited and had little impact except for the dome. If you're into energy and how it interacts on other levels definitely a place for you. I wanted more interactions

Lame interactive light & movement installations.. nothing special.. nice for kids maybe.. but otherwise just same old and repetitive tricks you see in other shows like that that become more popular to the point that they are just not interesting.. so basic and uninteresting.. not worth the money..

I wish the air conditioning was working on the day we went, as we were getting a work out trying to interact with some of the exhibits on a hot summer day. Meanwhile a couple of the interactive exhibits weren't really working. The price point is steep even with a discount code, but I guess fair considering the neighborhood. The 3D glasses definitely enhance the experience. The art work itself is aesthetically nice, just wish there was more.

Wow, wow, wowwww!! What a fun, exhilarating experience. HIGHLY recommend if you are in the area, or even across town. Don't want to ruin the experience for anyone, but it's one you'll never forget. You feel like a big kid when you're in there! Worth the $40. They have free lockers to put your coat, stuff, etc in which makes it very convenient. Staff is helpful and friendly. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. Enjoy!

Had a great experience today in the inter exhibit. Would definitely recommend on your next visit to New York City.

If you are looking for a fun indoor activity try this . A great experience to share with a friend. Each room has something different to offer. You don't feel rushed at all as you move through the exhibits. They have a few great spots for pictures. So wear something cute. Enjoy!!

Such an interesting experience! Staff was friendly and you really get what you give to it. Definitely try it if you have the chance

The interactions where great but the way how each interaction told you what to do, and how each thing was explained what you would experience and feel threw me off. I am more for to let the visitor explore and discover on there own to find out what result of there interaction will resolve into and felt like if this museum existed when AI and VR etc just started it would have been a better fit.

Also some of the exhibitions spaces felt unfinished (such as some had cables and electrical wires showing, lights not working as well as some areas design wise felt like a rushed finish. - felt expensive (one of the higher amounts ive paid for a museum or exhibit in nyc) for what you got

We visited InterIam on 14 September 2023 for my husband's birthday.

We were warned upfront about the heating/cooling issues which I appreciated. There were multiple fans on each level to try and cool down the temperature.

We left the interactive art museum feeling under-whelmed in that there wasn't a lot to do or experience.

The floor to the bench wasn't working (it remained blank), the walls just after the magical garden tunnel were blank and not operational, the upper human torso model wasn't working, screens that you are supposed to tap weren't working, etc.

We paid the full fee and received maybe half of the actual experience. This is really something that should be communicated to people upfront. We would have elected to go on a different day if this had been communicated to us.

Give this one a miss.
