SERVICE: Vegetation cleanup - to clean up all the bushes and small trees on my hillside. After trimming things down, his crew thoroughly cleaned up all the debris. No mess left behind. Very efficient and friendly group!

PRICING: Jose was very transparent and upfront in explaining how his pricing and services works. From going over all the details of: how many people necessary to get the job done, how long it would take his crew, and removal. His sent over a proposal with price breakdown immediately after his consultation visit.

SCHEDULE: Jose came out the next day from my first outreach to look at my space and walked me through his recommendations. Scheduled me a few days later for the job. His crew showed up on time and cleaned everything up quickly.

COMMUNICATION: Jose was very communicative, updating me on schedules, and making sure all my questions were answered. Even though he was dealing with a personal matter, he was still able to text me. You can tell he really cares about his customers.

I am so glad I found Madriz Tree Service, I highly recommend Jose and his team - so happy with their work. I will definitely call them if I need tree or landscaping services in the future!

From our first contact with Mr. Jose Madriz we were provided with a prompt appointment to come and evaluate our situation with an enormous pine tree.

He was very professional and knowledgeable.
We've had several evaluations in the past as we considered the threat of the tree on our house.

But with our increased fear of severity and frequency of our weather patterns, we felt an urgency to consult with a real professional.

They cleaned up after they were done so well that you could hardly know that they had been here! Except for the enormous empty space where our tree used to be.

As a relatively new homeowner, this was my first time having to hire an arborist. I had two companies give me a bid, and Jose gave me the best deal, plus my dog immediately loved him. Come the day of the job, I was so impressed by the professionalism and efficiency with which they completed the tasks. I had one tree and stump removed, trimmed a tree hanging over my roof, trimmed back 2-3 Acacias, and reshaped my lemon tree. It took maybe 3 hrs at the most! Would definitely recommend.

I have a dead tree in my yard and need it removed. I called Jose (owner) and he got back to me very quickly. He came on the same day to provide a quote and was able to confirm a price $2250 right away.

I had another quote for $2440 so I knew his quote was competitive. The other company requested access to my neighbor's yard though, which I could not get, so I felt Jose was offering a better service.

We needed a tree and some shrubs removed quickly, as we are about to do some construction on our house. Jose responded to my yelp request quickly and was able to come by the same afternoon to take a look at the site. He was super friendly and was very clear about what the job would entail and the pricing was competitive. He had a crew come by the next day and they were friendly, super efficient, and tidy. They removed the tree, ground down the stump, cleared the debris, and hauled everything away, all in about 30 minutes time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone.

We moved to a new home with an avocado tree way too overgrown - overhanging the neighbor's house and yard, and dropping large avocados from ~80 feet. Jose and the highly skilled crew from Madriz Tree service did a phenomenal job fixing our problem while saving the tree. We chose Madriz because Jose gave the most honest estimate and seemed the most knowledgable and considerate of our needs compared to other services.

The Madriz crew were able to remove huge branches without dropping them in the neighbor's yard, shaped the tree beautifully, worked around an old fence and buildings without damaging them, and cleaned up our entire yard before finishing up. We are so glad they saved the tree but made it way more manageable. It looks dramatically different now, but it's shaped so that it will grow back evenly and be more manageable. Madriz will be our first call next time we have tree/landscaping needs and I'd recommend them to anyone that asked!
