Madriz Tree service

We moved to a new home with an avocado tree way too overgrown - overhanging the neighbor's house and yard, and dropping large avocados from ~80 feet. Jose and the highly skilled crew from Madriz Tree service did a phenomenal job fixing our problem while saving the tree. We chose Madriz because Jose gave the most honest estimate and seemed the most knowledgable and considerate of our needs compared to other services.

The Madriz crew were able to remove huge branches without dropping them in the neighbor's yard, shaped the tree beautifully, worked around an old fence and buildings without damaging them, and cleaned up our entire yard before finishing up. We are so glad they saved the tree but made it way more manageable. It looks dramatically different now, but it's shaped so that it will grow back evenly and be more manageable. Madriz will be our first call next time we have tree/landscaping needs and I'd recommend them to anyone that asked!

We needed a tree and some shrubs removed quickly, as we are about to do some construction on our house. Jose responded to my yelp request quickly and was able to come by the same afternoon to take a look at the site. He was super friendly and was very clear about what the job would entail and the pricing was competitive. He had a crew come by the next day and they were friendly, super efficient, and tidy. They removed the tree, ground down the stump, cleared the debris, and hauled everything away, all in about 30 minutes time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone.

Outstanding service. While not the cheapest estimate I received they were close and Jose spent time going over his approach to each tree (we had 3 large trees trimmed). Others I got estimates from looked at the trees and gave me an estimate.
Crew was on time, respectful of property, cut and stacked firewood and left yard cleaner than when they arrived.

The workers showed up on time at 8:00 am. They worked very fast and did everything I asked them to do. Their equipment was very new and quite impressive.
After finishing the job, the crew cleaned up with the blower and the grounds looked great.
If I ever need another tree trimming, I'll be sure to give Jose and his workers a call for sure

I will definitely be back to hire Madriz Tree Service. Jose's came out to do a consulation and his pricing was very reasonable. $685 for both trees, trimming and thinning out the magnolia tree a bit. Two guys showed up and got the job done in about 2.5 hrs. They had very professional equipment, lift, and tools and gave me a chance to look at their final work. Clean up was fantastic as well. They left the area much cleaner than when they arrived. That is good service.

I am really happy with the quality of service from Madrid Tree Service. The estimate was free and the price to remove the tree was reasonable. The tree was removed within a few days and the guys that removed it were friendly, professional and quick. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely use them again.

Tree service was very affordable compared to majority of bids received from other local tree service companies, and Jose personally came over to give an estimate + recommendations. His team was thorough and professional. The tree servicing (an elm and an oak) was a day long project but the end result was top notch. Thanks!

I am pleased to recommend Madriz Tree Service. From what I understand, we had a relatively small job: pruning our lemon tree and a small olive tree, removing a yucca tree, and planting two new citrus trees.

Jose provided excellent service, including a prompt estimate. As other reviews have mentioned, his bid was slightly more than another bid I received, but the estimates were close. It felt good that Jose was very willing to advise and teach me about our trees, with knowledgeable suggestions on new trees to consider and where to plant them. The day our service was scheduled, Jose picked up the new trees from East Bay Nursery, which were invoiced to us at cost. The crew had already had a full day yet were hard working and efficient. I would hire Madriz Tree Service again.
