Finally! Excellent Mexican food in downtown Menlo Park.

Mama Coco has cheerful surroundings and a great patio dining area in addition to indoor seating. The food is FRESH, pleasing to the eye, and has authentic seasonings with depth, not just a pile of oily slop that is all too common in other local mexican restaurants. This food is vibrant and the portions are just right, not huge yet certainly enough, and very filling. If you want two pounds of stale oil with "mystery meat" and soggy veggies that has come to pass as "authentic" Mexican food, go elsewhere. If you want quality, come here to Mama Coco. These dishes are thoughtfully created and executed.

Great service too! Friendly and timely, and the prices are reasonable. Great place for young families; the patio has a little area for kids to play while parents relax and chat. Take advantage of this fine establishment. I am very glad to have found this little jewel with close-by parking and a relaxed, friendly environment. Enjoy!

Great authentic Mexican food with good and reasonabley priced drinks, not just beer (I had Cava!) perfect spot for pre guild concert meal

The food was solid, and the service was great. The hour was a little small. I would go back if there was a big group, but it was pretty dead in there.

Its a smaller family owned vibe place. This place has delicious food. We discovered it during the pandemic in 2020 and the food was always hot and ready to go.

The Suizas De Mariscos is my go to. I ordered it at least once a week and was never disappointed. Husband also had a variety of items on the menu and wasn't ever disappointed. His highest regards were normally on the burritos.

Highly recommend checking it out if you are ever in the area for a quick stop in or carry out.

Great food and amazing staff! I accident walked out without some of my Togo order and the staff was nice enough to find me in the parking lot! Definitely coming back to enjoy the margaritas

We tried the nachos so yumi, but I'm in love with the decoration in the back. I wish can play different Latino music more than reggueton. Michelada was really good too!!

Family owned Mexican food spot that is delicious. Food is fresh, authentic, and very tasty. They have great drinks and excellent service. Very easy to get to and you can sit indoor or outside on the patio. A must try!

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants ever. I loved it also because it has dishes that you don't usually find anywhere else. Their red snapper is amazing. The food is so good that we always brings friend from abroad when they come to visit us in the Bay Area.

The food here is so good. I got the tostada ensalada, and other people in our party got the carnitas burrito, fajita quesadilla and burrito bowl -- everyone absolutely loved their food. The shrimp on my ensalada was cooked perfectly. The server was quickly and friendly. We ate outside, which was nice on a sunny day. Overall casual feel to the restaurant and reasonably priced.

Tamarind margarita was decent, a little tart and not very strong. They also have other Marg flavors like strawberry, mango, and peach. Chips and salsa were marked as $5 on the menu but we weren't actually charged for them which was nice. My dining partner enjoyed their chicken mole enchiladas (the cabbage and tomato slaw on their plate was phenomenal) and I ordered the vegetarian burrito without sour cream or cheese (vegan) and it was pretty good. Added some hot sauce which looked homemade. Limited vegetarian/vegan options but the burrito was decent. Would return.
