I have lived in New York for almost 10 years, and have managed to dodge one of my biggest fears, which is bed bugs. Unfortunately this streak ended, and I was attacked by these nasty little creatures on business trip while I stayed at a luxury hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia.

I did not even consider that I had bed bugs until I came home, because if you know about bed bugs, the bites can take days to show up. At first I just thought they were mosquito bites. When I finally suspected bed bugs, I did some research on the internet, and started freaking out. I called the hotel that I stayed at, and they told me that due to it being a Canadian holiday that weekend they would not be able to get someone in for an inspection for a few days. I could not wait that long for answers, so I started to look into getting a pest control company into my apartment for an inspection. This was when I stumbled upon M&M Pest Control, and I am so glad that I did.

I gave M&M Pest Control a call and spoke with Loren who put me at ease, and explained the process to me. Loren said he would have someone to my place ASAP. Within 2 hours Barry showed up with his adorable 4 legged partner in crime, Roxy. Barry was so nice, and made me feel like everything was going to be ok. After Barry and Roxy inspected my apartment, they luckily found no bed bug activity in my place. He gave me some plastic discs to put under my bed that would trap any bed bugs if for some reason they showed up. Barry also gave me some advice on how to search for bed bugs in hotels since I travel a lot for work. He also encouraged me to reach out to M&M Pest Control if I had any questions, or needed any additional info. The next day I found a little beetle that was a little suspect, so I emailed a picture to Loren, and he assured me that it was just a drugstore beetle (whatever that is), and nothing to worry about.

The hotel in Vancouver contacted me about a week later, and confirmed that they did in fact find bed bugs in the room that I stayed in. Even though nothing was found in my apartment, I reached out to M&M to see if I should still do a bed bug treatment to my apartment since the hotel ended up finding bed bugs in the room (and the hotel would obviously be paying for this treatment). Loren told me that unless I found any bed bugs in my apartment since Barry and Roxy did their inspection, that it was not necessary, but to keep a close eye on it, and reach out if anything changes.

I feel like if M&M was just after their customer's money they would have encouraged a treatment, but they build their business on being honest and professional, so they did not do that. Their prices are 100% reasonable. If you have researched bed bugs on the internet, or have ever had them, you know that bed bugs do not carry any diseases, but they do bring a lot of emotional stress. Working with M&M Pest Control helped to keep this at a minimum. They put my mind at ease, and without them this experience would have been so much worse. I am so lucky that I was bit by bed bugs, but that I did not bring them home with me.I highly recommend working with M&M Pest Control. You will not regret it!

Woke up with suspicious bug bites and got in touch with MMPC. Jonathan responded immediately and got a same-day inspection sent out. The inspection was very thorough from Glen and sweet pup Matcha. Glen followed the canine inspection with his own human inspection, explained everything he was doing, was very respectful of our home and belongings, non judgmental, and left us some traps and tips for what to look out for. We got a few quotes and theirs was the most competitive. Would use them again.

Samuel was not only punctual but he was attentively thorough throughout the visit. We requested pest control for the roaches in our building. Samuel's patience and extensive knowledge on treatment was invaluable. He was able to clearly explain the process as well as additional treatments we could safely do on our own. Fortunately for him, he's taking a well-deserved vacation soon. Unfortunately for us, that means we don't get to see his "handsome face" for the follow-up. We can't thank Samuel enough for his calm and pleasant presence. We hope our next serviceworker will be as proficient as Samuel, and based on his work, we're confident in MMPC's services. Would recommend.

Samuel provided our service and was extraordinarily thorough and professional. We found holes in our walls that we wouldn't have even known existed! The service also included a lot of bait traps on the first visit. We're going to schedule another visit to seal up those holes we found.

I've had a problem with a pest that no one could identify since before Thanksgiving. The pest control company my building uses was not efficient and I was desperate. I contacted MMPC late at night after someone recommended them on Reddit. That same night Ami contacted me, helped me ID the pest for free, and I scheduled a visit the next morning. Alberto was right on time, polite, and extremely professional. He did a thorough check up of all the areas where I've been encountering the bugs, he took pictures, and explained in detail what he was going to do and confirmed what I've been told the night before: it was a grain weevil beetle. I felt calmer knowing my situation was being handled by someone as knowledgeable as him. Highly recommended.

unbelievably helpful and kind. I thought I had a major issue and was incorrect. the Team - Morgan and Will - id'd my photos very quickly, and professionally, for free. Refused to sell me a service which they said I did not need. In this day and age, such behavior is rare.

MMPC is the best! They were so responsive when we initially contacted them for a suspected carpet beetle issue, and were able to send someone to our apartment ASAP (with very flexible scheduling). Manny was our expert tech and he was AWESOME. So knowledgeable, thorough and gave us a ton of information about our issue (and made us feel like it wasn't the end of the world, which makes a big difference to someone who is very bug phobic!) Would highly recommend MMPC and Manny for any of your pest control needs!

This place was recommended by some neighbors in my building. Samuel came out to do the assessment. He was friendly, courteous and professional. He explained the process and made me forget about my mouse problem...if even for a few minutes. He walked me through his assessment and provided me with so much useful information. I highly recommend this company!

God I wish I had read the reviews on Yelp first and not on Google. Don't know what the deal is with this company. I paid for an assessment as I found mice droppings and what I really wanted is someone just to come and close holes around pipes professionally. A guy came and took pics of areas I pointed out to him (I could have done that) and I have followed up via email and phone since and still nada after 4 days. Ridiculous! I wish I would have gone with my gut feeling that paying for an assessment is just a scam. Now I lost a week and need to look for another company to actually do the job.
