Richmond never disappoints with Chinese food and Oodle really came through with their noodles! My first time trying rice noodles in this way and I thought it was an interesting collab between hot pot and dipping ramen. If you like both then this would be the spot for you!!

Each pot is priced individually, and comes with a set of side dishes displayed on a bridge. I tried the rice noodle, and kale noodles (which was kind of strange) - I'd stick with either rice noodle or egg noodle next time. It is SO aesthetic and def was on the gram. Typically Chinese food in the area doesn't have this keen eye for display and I am giving it 5/5 stars for the quiet ambience, food authenticity, and presentation!

The OG crossing bridge broth is top tier, and the pork belly is delicious too! Separating the toppings is cute, but the soup didn't stay hot enough after cooking the meat and little dishes. We also got this rice roll which was alright, but I'd try their popcorn chicken next time.

Highlight of this restaurant is the owner (I'm assuming), she is so personable and even offered extra noodles! Definitely will visit again when I'm craving slurpy noodles and savory soup.

There are metered parking spots in front of this restaurant. There are also limited free parking spots available around this establishment as well.

We were greeted and seated right away by a friendly waitress upon entering the restaurant.
While we were looking at the menu, the owner of the restaurant came by and recommended us some dishes that we should try. We took her advice and ordered the rice noodles with nobashi ebi shrimp. We wanted to try the Yunnan style braised pork noodles, but they didn't have it. The owner recommended us to try their Yunnan soft tofu cold rice noodles with ground pork. We also ordered the Yunnan style rice noodles as an appetizer.

Our order came out pretty fast since we were the only customers there. The Yunnan style rice noodles had ground pork and black ear fungus in them. The wrapper was kind of chewy and the lime fish sauce added a nice kick to this dish. The crossing the bridge rice noodle soup came with six big peeled and deveined shrimp. It also came with ten small dishes on a wooden bridge. We thought it was a clever and cute idea. The Yunnan soft tofu cold noodles with ground pork was actually served warm. It tasted like dan dan noodles with soft tofu added to it.

While we were eating, the owner stopped by and chatted with us. She asked if everything was ok. She told us that the restaurant had been opened for six months. She told us that we should try their rice noodle soup with pork belly, popcorn chicken, chicken wings, and their milk tea on our next visit. She said that she used to own a tea shop.

This restaurant gave generous portions and reasonably priced. The owner and the waitress were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back to try the other dishes that the owner recommended. We enjoyed every dish that we ordered and had excellent service.

Came here as a party of 8 (including kids), and they were very gracious about accommodating us despite the tight space. The noodles were tasty and the owner took time to chat with us the history of Yunnan noodles. Everyone enjoyed the sides on the bridge as well, and the pickled cabbage soup was so good!

A week later, we discovered a discrepancy in billing, so we called to inquire. The owner personally resolved the issue, quickly, with patience and constant updates.

Go for the ambience, noodles and service!

I've been really into this type of rice noodle lately! It's sort of fun and interactive because you can toss in the meat, toppings, and noodles yourself. I got the original soup because I'm usually basic like this but the soup comes hot so that it cooks the slices of raw meat when you drop it in. Then we're supposed to toss the bridge items in and the finish off with the noodles.

Love their presentation and also the casual atmosphere! Cute interior too! Definitely going back soon!!

This is where you can find the SILKEST rice noodles in SF! They are the first restaurant to open in the city focused on Yunnan "crossing the bridge rice noodles". They offer deconstructed noodle bowls where you can pick between different broths, proteins and toppings.

We ordered the original and tomato beef brisket broths. Both broths had rich and delicious flavors. The tomato broth came with juicy and tender pieces of beef brisket. We loved getting to customize our own toppings. This is the perfect bowl of noodles for cold weather.

They even serve boba drinks here, which pair perfectly with the savory broth. I ordered the Supreme Grapefruit Green Tea which was so refreshing. Overall, the restaurant is very clean and the decor is cute. The owners are the sweetest! Definitely give it a try if you're in the Richmond District!

Been wanting to try this place out when it first opened.

I ordered the original bowl of soup noodles. It was fun putting all the ingredients into the broth -- sort of like a hot pot but all the little treasures going into it. I have to say the broth was fantastic with real rich flavor and utterly satisfying.

The place is small and cozy and fills up fast so plan on a wait if you come at prime rush hour. Only one server but service was quick and efficient.

Can't wait to try out their other soups.

Brought parental units here for a weekday late lunch. The environment is chill, food was good, service was warm and friendly.

There's ~8 table here, with benches for seating; each table can comfortably seat 4-6, possibly more with kids. The restaurant is bright and delightfully decorated.

Given this was our first time here, we ordered two #1 Original: one with shrimp, one with beef. The meat/bone broth has been cooked for hours and has a delicious depth to it. We had regular noodles (imported from Yuana) in one and kale noodles in the other. Both were delicious. The bridge of toppings that come with each order of noodles, albeit gimmicky, was fun and added texture to the dish; atop the bridge were corn, preserve vegetables, yuba, goji berries, ham slices, a shrimp, wood ear strips, chives, and a quail egg. The protein ( slices of beef and shrimp) came out raw, along with noodles on the side, and piping hot broth for us to cook everything in. All in all, a very satisfying meal.

We also got the tofu + ground pork cold dry noodles and a wood ear appetizer. The dry noodles were unique and I liked the tofu flavors in them, though I still preferred the version with broth. The wood ear appetizer was good - vinegary and had a little kick.

The manager/owner (?), having learned that this was our first visit, welcomed us and shared her recommendations. It was clear she's passionate about the food and takes pride in their offerings. She and the other waitress were both great in ensuring we were well taken care of; service was quick. Despite this being a restaurant that has been opened for only 5 months, everything is operating smoothly.

When the bill came, I opted to pay with a credit card. These days, the tip portion of the credit card workflow at restaurants can get quite confusing, often ranging anywhere from 15-25% or more. Unlike other restaurants that default tip to 18% or 20%, I appreciated Oodle defaulting theirs to 15%. For that, and for the delightful service, I was happy to increase the tip to the next tier up at 18%. They earned it!

Pretty quiet on a Friday afternoon. We were giving laminated menus and a dry erase marker. Waitress was very quick to take our order and tried to upsell a few times.

It was a cool experience. I liked the noodles, but the broth was a little too sour for me. I ordered the original, which came with three slices of beef. I definitely prefer Ten Seconds in San Leandro.
