They were very helpful and are basically just nice people. This was the first time I rented self storage in Oakland and they helped me tremendously.

I was happy to get a unit at this convenient location but their hours are really tight. I need to access my unit in the evening and a 6pm closing time is kind of absurd for people who get off work at 5. They open at 9 so there's no possibility to go before work either.

As good as a storage place can get, I think. I got lucky and scored a nice unit on the ground floor. Easy in and out. Well lit and clean--huge deal to me. Reasonable price for a small space. Friendly and helpful staff. Ability to pay online. Works for me. No 5th star bc, well, it's just storage.

I have always used Extra Space Storage, but I doubt I will again. AJ is great! Customer service guru, this guy. He was so helpful getting everything squared away that I will have a hard time deciding to use a different storage facility, as long as I'm in the Oakland area.

This is my favorite storage place. Of course it's my first time using one. A. J. Ferreira, made it very easy to do so. He explained everything, twice actually, because I wanted to be sure. In addition to that, he didn't have a problem writing it down for me. A.J. is a sweetheart, he kind, patient and very understanding. Things you don't know and should know, he tells you without you asking. I appreciate him, and if someone were to ask where to go, I would say, StorQuest, Self Storage at 4601 Shattuck Ave, Oakland,
CA. 94609. Don't believe me, find out for yourself.

The customer service was superb I was under a great deal of stress. The individual I was staying with was pressuring me to get my belongings in storage.

So I called Storquest and spoke to AJ. After a week a so I finally went to the storage facility to meet AJ. I was deeply concerned about the price Because I didn't have much money on me.

AJ got me a real good deal. I qualified for the special promotional move in discount. It costs next to nothing to rent a storage unit. And the unit was right on the first floor. Now I can pay my monthly payments with no problem because he eliminated the initial move in cost.

AJ is awesome and he always take time out to greet you when you walk in.

I rented a unit from A.J. two days ago and had such a wonderful experience! He was super accommodating when I wanted to see several units in different sizes and in different areas of the building. He called the elevator for me TWICE while I was loading a cart, so that it would be waiting for me when I was ready. And he did it all with a smile! I highly recommend StorQuest.

I was dreading getting a storage unit, but I called these guys up and was able to reserve a unit in a few minutes and rented it out later in the day. The staff was amazingly friendly and relaxed and were helpful without being pushy.

I'm writing this review specifically for AJ, the store manager. AJ gave me some really great help and service from day one. Unfortunately I had a negative experience the second time I came in due to a representative that they've gotten rid of since then, but AJ made everything all right before I knew it. I'd return here. And it's a prime location-- right at the Berkeley/Oakland border.

Went back to close out my account at StorQuest and I tell you A.J. is fricken awesome, he was so helpful, friendly and very professional, he knows he's stuff, fast! talked with him for a min while my guys loaded the truck, awesome guy I would recommend this place to whoever is looking for storage, ask for A.J he is the man to see!!!!
