What type of music do you usually have? I want to go tomorrow but just want to make sure it'll fit the vibe.
A:
Hi Gabriela - You can check out our line up at templesf.com. The music changes weekly and we offer two types each night on two different levels. Have fun!

So i just bought levi faux leather retro low top for the club but is it permitted? it has sneakers on the name but i dont have anything to wear besides my addidas yung 1s or air jordan low tops.
A:
Fashion sneakers are fine! As long as they are not athletic, running, or tennis shoes.

Me and a few other people were sitting down peacefully on the patio outside, no alcohol and no cigarettes were involved. One of the bouncers comes and throws his hands at us without saying anything as if we were a bunch of sheep being herded! I asked him what's going on to which he didn't respond! So, I respectfully went to ask the other bouncer guy who seemed to be more approachable about this. The only thing I asked him was if we shouldn't sit there and why is that happen also trying to make a conversation (I was fully sober). Not only he yelled and threw his hand at me and telling me to go away, he didn't even the basic human decency to have a conversation.
This was my first time in this club and I was having fun until this happened and ruined my night. This is a yet another reminder that no matter how big/fancy your venue looks like and how cool your DJs are, if you treat people badly, people will not come back to your business. I will never set my foot in this place ever again and will tell everyone I know not to go here. This place could have been a great club. What a waste!Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Dione J.San Francisco, CA02Jul 18, 2023
good space, very nice vibe and the option of being in the upstairs floor or downstairs is nice. when one room gets too crowded or lame, check out the other! i went on reggaetonlandia night, would go again. BUT we made it there at 11pm due to a detour and cover was $40 each person, on top of drinks?? wallet hurt that night...
p.s. line goes fast because dress code is Strict; dress nice!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 9727482173Mar 7, 2020
Honestly, I've been to Temple way too many times. This is basically the default club that my Asian friends and I go to other than Arena. The interior is really large with an upstairs that plays edm and a downstairs that plays hip hop music. You can choose to buy tables on both floors, but the tables downstairs are usually cheaper. Certain nights might have guest lists, where if you sign up online earlier in the day you can get in the club for free before 11pm.
Below I've listed all the reasons why I dislike this place:
-- if you're trying to do guest list, good luck. Depending on the night, the guest line moves sooooo slow and can stretch all the way down the sidewalk. I've been in line for an hour before. If you get there at 10:30 and wait in line for half an hour, Temple WILL NOT honor your guest list once the clock hits 11pm. I'm kind of convinced this is their ticket selling strategy: making people stand in line for so long that they eventually feel obligated to pay cover at the door ($20-$60)
-- table service is pretty meh. The signs and lights aren't as glamorous as other clubs and the service is pretty slow/nonexistent.
-- the bouncers pick and choose who they want to let in. If they think you look drunk or too tipsy, they won't let you in EVEN IF you're part of a table. I understand they're trying to prevent drunk people from entering the club but they get it wrong a lot of the time. And they're not nice about it.
-- stuff gets stolen all the time. My group has lost many phones and cards over the years. I've literally seen a thief put his hands down my friend's purse (of course we reported him to a bouncer)
-- I've never been sexually harassed to the point I have been at Temple. Unfortunately, yes, this is the club experience for many women but out of all the clubs in SF, Temple seems to be the worst. The ratio is not great to begin with and it seems guys specifically go here to grope or dance on women. They don't take no for an answer. Reporting to bouncers doesn't seem to help.
Temple really only has two good things going for it, which is interior size and downtown location. Both of which aren't worth it for me anymore.Helpful 18Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Joy L.Berkeley, CA021Oct 10, 2022
One of the security guys at the front gate was being super racist. After I showed him my passport, he refused to let me in because I was wearing shorts that day. Meanwhile I saw a lady wearing shorts in front of me was allowed to enter (and she even wore bikini bra as her top). I kept asking this guy why, and he just said that shorts are not allowed. I'm so surprised how this guy can be so double standard. If they are really following their dress code policy, everyone with shorts should not be allowed to enter. If I'm the only one who's not allowed to enter, that's DISCRIMINATION. Wish this trash place will be close soon.
If you haven't been to this place yet and are still considering, PLEASE NEVER NEVER COME! There are a lot of clubs and bars that are way better than temple. Go check those clubs out!Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 1 - Yolanda M.Moreno Valley, CA073Jun 25, 2022
Honestly the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! One of the securities was just trying watching and smiling at me the entire time i was on the dance floor completely making me feel UNCOMFORTABLE. When I brought it to another securities attention we were rushed by a whole bunch of securities and then escorted outside when i explained what happened outside they wanted us to come back in but NO NEVER WILL I RETURN. Also, i ordered 2 Sunrises upstairs and was charged $28 then ordered two more down stairs and was charged $20 so make it make sense. Honestly, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER FOR MY FIRST TIME GOING OUT IN SF. Completely ridiculous. I called management today and left a voicemail. Lets see if i get a response from them.

Great club in San Francisco. Went here with of couple of my boys for New Year's Eve and we all had fun. Dress code isn't strict at all just make sure you dress nice so no hats, baggy clothes or shorts. They state on the their website that sneakers aren't allowed which doesn't make any sense because most people were wearing casual shoes like Vans and nike.

The bartender lost my friend's credit card in the middle of a payment -- how is that even possible? She then spent time looking in the trash can and found a credit card. But it didn't belong to my friend. Why are there multiple credit cards going missing?

Me and my girlfriend came here for Pauly D and had a wonderful time. Good vibes overall, security was chill and the venue itself is sick. A little confused about all these reviews talking about the security being aggressive, neither me or my girlfriend had any negative experiences with them. They were pretty friendly and didn't really bother anyone unless someone was acting up. Dress nice and don't act a fool and you'll have a great time here

Such a stupid club stupid service. I can't believe people live in Geuer. They're rude people very rude management stupid security guards.
