Q:
Do they have table dine in service? I only see pictures of to go bowls...
A:
Yes, they have tables and even a bar that you can eat at! It's just the packaging and ordering process will be the same as the to-go orders.

Do they check for vaccination status? If yes do they still have an outdoor table?

Delicious poke bowls! I'd classify Tuna Kahuna as an *upscale* poke spot because the fish quality is amazing, but the prices are also higher than average (around $20-25 for one bowl). My husband and I came and ordered two bowls and a glass of wine. I got the salmon lover and he got the yuzu hamachi. The yuzu hamachi was our favorite with the truffle ponzu sauce!! I love anything truffle so I can't wait to order this next time. It went so well with the buttery hamachi. I also liked the ikura and avocado with the salmon lover bowl--it was the perfect combo of salty, fatty, and creamy. Next time I need to order their cured egg on top! We want to come back for the chef's table as well.

"Hearty Delights at Tuna Kahuna - A Food Lover's Haven"
Situated at 1117 Burlingame Ave, Burlingame, CA 94010, Tuna Kahuna is a haven for those with hearty appetites. My friend and I stumbled upon this gem due to its proximity to his workplace, and it turned out to be a delightful find.
The ambiance at Tuna Kahuna is top-notch, creating a pleasant environment for a satisfying meal. The staff members are not only friendly but also incredibly helpful. As a food lover, I sought a surprise recommendation, asking the staff to create something substantial - and they delivered.
The overall experience was wonderful, leaving me eager to return. The only hiccup might be parking, which can be a bit challenging. However, overcoming this hurdle is well worth it for the culinary experience that awaits. While the prices lean slightly above average, the quality of the food justifies it. Tuna Kahuna is a spot where friendly staff and delectable dishes converge, making it a definite repeat destination.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 25, 2023
Best quality fish I've had in a poke bowl around the bay. The cured yolk was so savory and unique, and I'm obsessed with their fried garlic. It's so good I had to go back for more.
The bowl itself is quite expensive - around $23, but I was able to stretch it out over two meals.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 1, 2023
There's a paid parking garage nearby or street parking available. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. You order first and then choose your seat as they bring the food to you. I ordered from their signature bowl: The Yuzu Salmon. It was soooo good! The rice was not the usual white rice, it was mixed with something that gave it a really good burst of flavor. There was a lot of salmon in the poke as well, and everything was mixed and seasoned so well! This is hands down the best poke I've ever had!
Recommendation(s):
- Yuzu Salmon
Service: 5/5

- There's a paid parking garage nearby or street parking
- Accept Apple Pay
- Plenty of seats available for indoor or outdoorHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Nov 7, 2023
Had lunch in the outdoor space today. Ordering was easy thru a QR code and food came within 5min. Though it was a tad chilly now that we are in the midst of Fall, the staff brought out a heat lamp to help with the cold wind. Bowl was a good size (and if u r not too hungry, there is a kids bowl), fish was fresh and the topping (5 for regular) was nice. Personal favorites are edamame, corn, pickled radish. Each bowl is $18-20, so 22-34 with tip and tax.

OH EM GEE...this is the BEST poke around!
I ordered the spicy chili poke and it was SO good that I actually finished it in one sitting (very rare because i usually toss away half of my usual poke). The fish tasted very fresh and paired so well with the chili sauce. The rice was also delicious and flavored to perfection.
WILL BE COMING BACK!!!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Josh H.University South, Palo Alto, CA0566Jul 17, 2024
I come here all the time for a light but filling meal. Prices are fair for this area and the portions are solidly sized. No skimping on the fish like other places. The flavors of all their options are amazing and the sauces are similarly good. Since it is a poke place the service is obviously very fast. I've also tried their hot options a couple times (Gyu Don) and they were good. Restaurant has a nice vibe but limited seating as it is a smaller place. Would highly recommend a stop here.

This is always my favorite poke place and it never let me down! Staff here are very friendly, welcoming and patient. The ambience is very modern and clean.
I always make my own poke bowl, which was loaded with generous portions of fresh tuna, avacado, mango, veges and other delicious toppings. The tuna sashimi was outstanding with a melt in your month texture and a delicate flavor that highlighted the freshness of the fish. The poke bowl was just perfection with great flavors. I felt completely satisfied.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Oct 14, 2023

i came here after work on a weekday around 4:30/5pm. free parking here is a bit hard to find so there are some options around the area. this place was a little more hidden than i expected but i did end up finding it. i ordered a 3 protein poke bowl for $25.17 (w tax) which i will say is more expensive than i would have expected. i got the house tuna, tuna and salmon. i thought the fish was pretty good and the service was pretty good. it is a bit cramped in there but it does what it needs to do.
tldr: 3 protein poke $25 (seemed a bit $) but i think it is an okay price to portion ratio. if you're in the area and craving poke, would give this place a try.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
