      I had my Uber Ride scheduled for me from this True Care scheduler her name is Casey for my Free Mammogram Exam today in San Marcos, CA.

      Then I received an automated phone call from this Uber Company that told me this Uber Driver his name is Andre he will pick me up at my house at 9:30 a. m. to driver me over to this True Care Clinic in San Marcos, CA this morning for my 11 a.m. appointment. On this telephone message on my answering machine this morning. This Uber Operator told me the make of this car will be a Sliver Nissan 4 door Sedan Car and she gave me the first 4 digits of this Uber Driver's licensee plate number. This Uber Operator told me to wait outside my house on the curb so it will be easier for Andre to pick me up in front of my house this morning at 9:30 a. m.

      When this time came, I waited outside on the curb at 9:25 a. m. for this Uber Driver to pick me up at the curb in front of my house in Oceanside, CA this morning at 9:30 a.m. I waited until 9:25 a. m. then I saw this Nissan 4 Door Silver Sedan Car driving up to my house and he turned his car around and then he parked right next to the curb in front of my house.
      I put on my blue paper mask and then I opened up the side door in the back seat passenger right hand side. Then I sat down and I put on my seatbelt in this Uber Driver's Car. This man he told me his name is Andre and he had a shaved head. I asked Andre does he need the address to this True Care Office Building? Andre checked his Uber Maps App to see if my address that I called into Casey who is an employee of True Care has this address into their Uber Data Base System. Andre said No he doesn't need my address to True Care. I said okay fine.

      Then I was trying to act in a friendly manner to Andre this Uber Driver.
      I asked Andre, how long has he been an Uber Driver? Andre told me he has been an Uber Driver for 2 years now and he said he hates his job working as an Uber Driver and he is trying to quit his job as a Uber Driver soon. Then I asked him what does he do for a living beside being a Uber Driver?
      Andre told me he is a Book Dealer. I said okay. Then I asked Andre how long has he been a Book Dealer? Andre stared to act really defensive to me and he was upset with me his customer. Andre gave me really poor customer service this morning as his passenger. Then Andre was acting really defensive to me like he was trying to hide things about himself. His bad behavior really bothered me. I didn't deserve to be mistreated by Andre this Uber Driver.

      Then Andre was really defensive toward me and he said I am asking him too many personal questions. I only asked him one question. How long has he been a Book Dealer? This is all I asked him. His bad behavior today is a bad reflection off of this Uber Driving Company. I was very upset and angry at Andre this Uber Driver for acting unprofessional to me today.

      Then Andre said to me that he has to drive to this True Care Office Building in San Marcos, CA now. He was very rude and abrupt to me today. I should call up Uber Driving Company and report his bad behavior to me today. I thought in my thinking that Andre should NOT be an Uber Driver. Because it really showed on his face and his gestures to me today that he HATES HIS JOB AS A UBER DRIVER. His Job should be given to someone else who has excellent customer service skills. Not someone rude like Andre. It depends on the Uber driver that will determine if my ride is a comfortable ride or not. It does matter if you have a good Uber driver who has a good attitude then my ride would be better.

      They need to fix there map I got a Uber was told it was 30 bucks and going to work freeway was close do to construction so driver was going in circles and the fare went to 58 dollars I as for part refund they said I got to.many already so everytime the map mess up driver make wrong turn the passengers have to.pay for it that's not right money not the issue I'm not going to get rip off by uber

      I have been an Uber customer for many years. Uber overcharged me by roughly $60 and when I tried to get this corrected, I was given a $15 credit that expired before I could use it. It was incredibly difficult to contact them and the response was even more disappointing. I will not use Uber again.

      Driver changed route on his on and I was charged for 2 tolls but only went through 1 and wasn't even supposed to. Uber needs to refund my money immediately.

      Horrible customer service. I was sent a due to unseen circumstances Uber can't refund me for the tolls even though I selected no tolls

      We have used Uber in a number of cities and other locations. Our experience in San Francisco was not satisfactory. Uber has two safeguards for the passenger: 1 license plate number which you receive when you book and 2. the driver´s first name which you also receive. When our car arrived it was not convenient to walk around to the back and Iasked the driver his first name. The driver exploded at us: I dont give you my name, he said. He went on about it saying we had no right to ask him and seemed to grow angrier. We dismissed him and called Lyft. We had a lovely ride.

      I was trying to pre-schedule a ride to a sold-out concert that would have been complicated to get to and park. The app was not working correctly and scheduled a vehicle to come right away. So that was not going to work so I canceled the trip and then was charged a cancelation fee which I will dispute. In another attempt to reschedule the trip I was successful in setting up the time to be picked up, but then was informed that no one could be in the area at that time so they canceled my request. Finally, I tried Lyft and was able to get a ride at a reasonable cost.

      UBER has mysteriously gotten rid of its WAV Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles. There is no way to contact UBER so there is no way to get information. This is egregious in Berkeley, California which has a large disabled and elderly community. No Stars however Yelp requires at least 1 star.

      Absolutely the worst ride service!! I had recurrent problem with the app in trying to pay for rides using 5 different credit card accounts, and none were being accepted by Uber. Each time the app telling me to switch payment method. I must have tried to pay 100 times, but no success. So I contacted my banks for each card, to find out there were no issues to use the cards to pay for Uber rides. But when I re-attempted to use them later for rides, Uber still never accepted. So, I contacted Uber customer service, several tomes to explain the problem. Eah time, Uber telling me my account was reviewed and problem was resolved, which was erroneous, because the problem continued. My latest contact with Uber today resulted them telling me that these cards were restricted on my account, but when I asked why they were restricted for use, they weren't able nor interested in wanting to help me.

      So, I have now DELETED my Uber account completely, and so upset with them for their attitude and substandard quality service, and also had such a horrible experience recently when I called for Uber ride home at SFO airport at midnight, and Uber so unhelpful as well as mak8ng their customer service contact info so inaccessible for paying customers. Uber left me stranded in an unsafe situation.

      I hope Uber goes out-of-business soon! The company does not value the customer nor the drivers either.So fed up with them!!

      Bad business strategy to deactivate a user's account who plans to spend thousands of dollars on Uber Eats while living in a hotel during house repairs.

      After over 3 years of not using uber eats (and never used Uber for rides) I attempted to use Uber Eats to feed my family while living in the hotel. Every payment method was denied and customer support was unwilling to help (me give them money). After weeks of no help while requesting assistance, they finally deactivated my account, could not provide the details of why, and refuse to provide me service. As other reviewers mention, they treat you like a criminal, making false accusations that you've violated their secret rules, but are unwilling to say what they're accusing you of.

      Again, I haven't used the service in years, so there is no evidence of potential wrong doing on my part. I have never had a worse customer support experience. DoorDash has always been wonderful to work with, and amazingly, they're willing to take my money, though it goes much further with their fair rates!

      Formal complaint against your company AND request for compensation

      Dear Mr. Khosrowshahi,

      I want to make you aware of your company, having 1) the most ignorant customer service on the planet and 2) the best software, to squeeze every single dollar from the pockets of those using your services.

      The initial price form airport booked at 21,78US$ and a driver was confirmed. (Attachment 01) As I walked under the 105F+ temperatures to the meeting point, your Uber driver (Joseph K) cancels the ride, with no explanation of any sort (Attachment 2 - sms cancellation)

      There was no driver waiting for me at the meeting point, in temperatures above 105F and after 21 hours of travels among stinky people and crying Babies.

      As I check both applications of Lyft and Uber (see attachment 3 - Lyft) both show prices above 52US$ for the SAME distance back home ( 11 miles). I did not manage to get your print screen.

      This is the classic example of a scam company, in which the Uber driver (Joseph K in this case), decides not to provide the service he has committed to, because your app has detected a peak of people at the airport, and has immediately DOUBLED the prices to charge to those in need of a ride.

      John K had the chance to make twice the money for the same service. So do you.

      As a consequence I had to get a taxi, which cost me 49.05US$ ( Attachment 4)

      And to make things even worst, UBER customer disservice PRETENDS not to understand the problem and tells me, that the money were only: "temporary booked on my c card and that they got refunded". Three times. Completely off point.

      This answer came 3 times in a row from employees all the way to (fake) managers, who - despite the extremely obvious case of spam slammed onto their face, pretended to understand a different problem (unrecognized charge) and provided a completely different answer.

      Shameful

      Requests:
      1) Refund me the difference of money I had to pay because of this (27.27US$)
      2) 50US$ as compensation for 30 mins waiting time
      3) 200US$ as compensation for my work time invested in this case
      4) Official letter of apology for those ignorant managers, who played the dumb role

      Generally I'm pleased with UBER. UBER has been a game changer. I absolutely love this company and I'm sure there are way less drunk drivers out there now because of UBER. I've been using them for years.

      I recently noticed they give riders a rating. I think that's an interesting concept.

      I also use UBER eats, especially during COVID when I couldn't go out into the public. Sometimes the delivery fees are a little crazy, and I often wonder how that pans out for the driver.

      I dislike their upcharges during events. I once got charged $100 during an event for a ride home and the ride was only about 10 miles away. I've also recently had drivers who covered the seatbelts with a seat cover and refused to remove it (safety issue).
