Our Augmented Reality team has been patiently waiting to test this new device designed to transform industries such as mines, petrochemical plants, power plants, and others. X-Craft 5G Atex from Rokid Corporation Ltd mixes cutting-edge technology with ruggedness and a long lasting battery. It is equipped with a 5G module to enable remote collaboration while providing technicians and plant operators with access to IoT data, digital maintenance and operation workflows, and other essential information in real-time.

One common misconception regarding the adoption of technologies like MES, AR, and IIoT is that it's overly complex. The remote support module enables engineers and Subject Matter Experts in remote locations to collaborate with site personnel as if they are at the same place. The next phase will involve the digitization of the operations and maintenance manuals before implementing the digital twin technology for selected plant areas. Microsoft HoloLens 2 and RealWear, Inc. Navigator 520 were selected as wearable technologies to cover different use cases.

Just over a year after being certified as the Rockwell Automation’s System Integrator under the Industrial Internet of Things, Augmented Reality, and Edge Analytics capabilities, AQRESS was awarded one of the first Vuforia, a PTC Technology and ThingWorx, a PTC Technology based project in Africa within the water & energy sectors. This week, our Chief Executive met with our partner's team at Rockwell Automation in Dubai to discuss more solutions for our clients with the addition of FactoryTalk® DataMosaix™ which will provide flexible and scalable tools to accelerate data usability to our clients.
