In July and August, we hosted Cannes Report Back events with our teams in both our Cape Town and Johannesburg office, we ECD Neo Segola and SVP Jonty Fisher sharing insights, trend reports and learnings from their trip to Cannes in June for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. A big thanks to Heart fm for making our Silverstream campus event even more amazing! And to all the teams behind the scenes who pulled these together.

Do you know about the organisation called Open Chair? Open Chair is a community for the women of advertising and marketing in SA – formed for the purpose of creating access to industry leaders. Publicis Groupe Africa and our CEO Koo Govender is a big supporter of their work and we invited Suhana Gordhan and her team to speak about the work they do at our Silverstream Johannesburg campus yesterday. Thank you to our Chief People Officer Yevenia Naidoo for opening the talk and to our teams who attended. We can't wait to host the team next week in our Cape Town office!

Tomorrow is the IAB South Africa Bookmark Awards! “This is an awards show that prides itself on championing excellence in digital creativity and effectiveness,” says Peter Little, Chief Creative Officer. Started in 2008, the IAB Bookmark Awards have grown to become the gold standard of digital excellence. While the Bookmark Awards recognise innovation and creativity, their core focus is effectiveness – particularly in the digital landscape. The IAB South Africa Bookmark Awards are this week!
